Obscure/Forgotten Cartoons you watched

Recommended Posts

Lots of shit that rotted my brain:

Force Five (minus Spaceketeers)

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (whose theme song alternated between cheesy, ghey and S&M-ish with a guitar tying it all together)

Saturday Supercade

Pac-Man

Silverhawks (whose theme song was similar to Saber Rider, minus the whips)

C.O.P.S.

Centurions

She-Ra (like you didn't watch this right after He-Man)

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (good concept, bad show)

Robotix

Was there an actual show about Dinosaurs equipted with weapons and then ridden into battle by humans, or was that just a toyline?

Yup. Called Dino-Riders, used to be hooked on that show.

Mysterious Cities Of Gold was and remains my favourite 80's show.

Denver The Lost Dinosaur, he's my pal and a whole lot more *clap clap*

Dinosaucers

Does anyone remember a show called Twins Of Destiny??

Robotix (I think Bigfoot was one of the other shows that came on with it in this block, I know Jem was the other but I never watched that one.)

Inhumaniods

Bravestar

Ghostbusters (the one with the ape as a main character)

Camp Candy (not sure if that's obscure)

Beakman's World (not a cartoon but this seems to be a completely forgotten kids show)

Shake, Rattle and Roll (not sure if that's the name but there was a robot and they played cartoons throughout the show)

Tranzor Z

the Voltron with the cars was always better than the lions version

My favourites were:

Ghostbusters - The one with the talking ape, that show rocked!

Spartakus & The Sun Beneath The Sea - This was one fucked up bizarre show, just do a google on it and check it out, the people without legs still creep me out...

Mysterious Cities Of Gold - Brilliant show for it's time... Involved some concepts that aren't so far fetched now...

Thundercats - Wasn't obscure, but still an awesome show!

Yeah, it was M.A.S.K. It was more of cars/trucks/motorcycles being able to "transform" into other vehicles (not just flying), along with humans w/ specialized masks (hence the name) that they could use as weapons (i.e. shoot lasers, etc.).

There's this old childrens' show I'm can't remember the name of...all I remember is all the characters were various shapes, I think all of their names were adjectives or something. This is awful, I must remember this.

That was a book series more than a cartoon I think. But I can't think of the name either.

I still have a few of those on my Hard drive.

EDIT: Also, with what Spiff said... my favorite was "Stiletto On."

What was that one where the guy could transform into a car if he got something hot on him, and transformed back when he got something cold on him?
