Shannon Moore in a car wreck.

Recommended Posts

On Saturday the 19th Shannon Moore was involved on a serious accident. On his way home from the Fayetteville NC Raw House Show he was part of a head on auto collision with a military officer from near by Fort Bragg. Moore was driving his hummer and at the time was being followed by Matt Hardy, who had been leading the way in his corvette. Moore has various undisclosed injuries, and at the moment it is unknown when he will return to action.

I read somewhere that if Hardy still had the lead, he probably would have been killed since he was driving a corvette. Man....

Poor Shannon, hope the injuries aren't too serious.

Come to think of it, poor Matt too. He's been having a rough time of it lately.

I hope he recovers soon. I just find it weird he owns a Hummer.

Someone who probably makes the least money in WWE that's an active wrestler, and he's driving around a HUMMER? Unless it's an old piece of crap... save your money, bitch!

Damn, hope he's ok. Maybe now Matt will quit bitching about Lita and realize how lucky he is to be alive.

Goddamn, Matt Hardy loses his girl to the blonde haired Edge, then his rumored secret ex-boyfriend gets in a car accident...

It's like an episode of The OC.

secret ex-boyfriend? When the fuck did that happen?

Not sure how credible ^^^ is, but here's some more info:

Late Saturday night (March 19), WWE SmackDown Superstar Shannon Moore was involved in a head-on collision with a fairly high ranking sergeant in the US Army near Fort Bragg.

A resident of Whispering Pines, NC, Moore was returning home from meeting with friends from the WWE RAW roster following their show at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC. Moore was driving his Hummer and was hit head-on by the soldier, who was arrested for drunken driving.

Moore was being followed home by fellow WWE Superstar Matt Hardy, who lives nearby. Hardy had been in the lead, but Moore had passed him when the accident happen. Had Hardy been hit instead of Moore, he could well have been killed as he was driving a Corvette.

It's been reported elsewhere that Moore will miss some ring time, but got away very lucky as he suffered only a concussion and a possible minor neck injury.

Y'know, sure he was drunk driving, but he was a soldier. Since he's been so busy defending our country, I think we can let this go and not give him jail time. C'mon! He's a hero!

Nice to see Moore's saving his money, especially considering he'll be lucky to still have a job a year from now.

I think he had some older Mustang prior to this. That would make me want to jump to something huge as well, at least if the truck/suv:car ratio in the rest of the world is the same as it is here.

You know it's gotta be one of those Hummer-In-Name-Only H2s, though. The original model would have just shrugged off that accident.

Maybe this was the car Hardy was driving.....

Hardy's car

Whew. The C6 remained unscathed. I might have cried if that thing got fucked up.

Gotta agree.

I'm not a fan of vettes, but DAMN that is a sweet car. Kudos to Matt, at least he proved he has good taste in cars.
