I'm not talking about jacked up body freaks, or Flippy McFlippinsteins here...

Who is the most athletic wrestler in terms of combining flexibility, agility, and strength. Workrate has nothing to do with it.

I'd have to say Rob Van Dam or Rock, and I'm sure Ron Simmons was a stud back in his day.

Discuss.

Brock Lesnar. Physically, he could do pretty much anything and even the NFL scouts acknowledged this. He was just out of football so long that he didn't really know how to play at that level, which is why they wanted him to go to NFL Europe. He probably lacks the mental discipline of somebody like Kurt Angle, but in terms of raw ability Lesnar can do pretty much anything. I still find it amazing that someone powerful enough to F5 Big Show is agile enough to do a Shooting Star Press.

I consider him more of a great fighter than a great athlete. Kind of like Steven Regal or Dave Finlay.

The three of the top of my head

1. Brock Lesnar: freakish strength, speed and agility

2. Kurt Angle: Quick, strong, athletic

3. Shelton Benjiman: The guy is strong extremely quick, and agile

Scott Steiner in his day should get some respect because he was basically a prototype of what Brock Lesnar would be 10 years later.

I'm adding endurance into this equation.

Some of the most athletic wrestlers I've seen are Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar, Manami Toyota, the Dynamite Kid and Kenta Kobashi,

I remember Shawn Daivari making a post about Chris Benoit and Rob Conway's warm-up regimen that they go through every day they wrestle; FIVE-HUNDRED Hindu Squats.

Obviously the both of them have CRAZY endurance and leg strength.

Daivari, meanwhile, managed to do about four-hundred though the last seventy-five were killing him. This led to him pissing out his own broken down muscle fibers that somehow got into his kidney the night where Raw aired from the UK (I think).

As far as women workers, Manami Toyota is the first name that jumps out to me as far as straight up athleticism. Not very strong, but she excelled greatly in the rest of the categories and put it all together to have great matches.

Jack Evans, when it comes to flexibility.

Everyone else who deserves mentioning have been.

Most definitely. Totally forgot about Evans. I just got my first glimpse of his work a couple of weeks ago. I swore there were some bumps he took right on his head and neck where I thought he was going to end up paralyzed.

While it's entertaining, Jack Evans is going to have a short career followed by living the rest of his life in extreme pain if he keeps at this pace.

I fully expect him to be in a wheelchair, ala Dynamite, if he doesn't slow down.

One of the most defining spots of his flexibility was the...boston crab, I guess, Low Ki slapped on him where he had him by the waist.

My brother weighs 68kgs and does 600 every 3rd day... Daivari is just seriously unfit.

You've got to be shitting me. Someone who can't do 500 squats isn't "seriously unfit". Think about the absurdity of that statement. If he can't run for 10 minutes, then he's "seriously unfit".
