Lil' Bitch Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Pillman had a match against Steamboat at Havoc 92 that I fairly enjoyed. That'd be nice to see on the DVD.
FroGG_NeaL Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 The DVD will be worth it for all the no-wrestling shit alone. All the "Loose Cannon" gimmick promos and skits and shit. I wonder if the Austin gun scene will be on there.

I wonder if the Austin gun scene will be on there. No doubt, and I hope to hear some of today's WWE superstars' opinion on the Loose Cannon. I would've still loved to see a feud between Triple H & Brian Pillman from 2000, during the McMahon/Helmsley Era.
FroGG_NeaL Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 That would have have been great, no doubt. I wanna hear Edge talking about the loose cannon character, and see if he admits to being inspired by it for his Rated R Superstar deal.
razazteca Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Every coked out angry heel that does shoot promos stole from Brian Pillman, Shane Douglas, ECW.
AboveAverage484 Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Every coked out angry heel that does shoot promos stole from Brian Pillman, Shane Douglas, ECW. Well they stole it from the guy in your sig
razazteca Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Naw there is a difference between being addicted to pain killers to make it to the next job and lighting up just for the fuck of it.
JN News Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Well guys, I just pre-ordered my copy of the Brian Pillman DVD off of Amazon.com! I'm telling y'all, it's gonna be tight. Brian_Pillman_4th___California_Sun.mp3
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Anybody in Australia needs to listen to Melbourne's SEN 1116 radio show Wednsday nights at midnight, because next week they are giving away a copy of the Pillman DVD. They are doing a WCW quiz for callers ringing up about their favourite WCW memories. I would try and win it but I won the McMahon DVD just now and I would feel bad about winning 4 DVD's in 5 weeks (D-X&ONS2 DVD 3 Weeks ago, McMahon DVD today and the Pillman DVD next week).
Gert T Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 There hasn't been a matchlist yet has there? I'm guessing at 2 DVD's there will be 12-15 matches.
Bruiser Chong Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Apparently the new Vince DVD covers an angle that never came to be: Vince proposed HE be the father of Stephanie's baby, but she shot it down. He tried to sweeten the pot by suggesting SHANE be the father. Again, no. Vince also wanted to have HHH and Steph's wedding on PPV. What a genius.

I mean, yeah, it's Vince, but the man is not that sick. I can't imagine him booking himself into that, or doing that to his granddaughter.

DrVenkman PhD Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 One of next weeks Observers is supposed to have a review, I can't wait to hear Dave talk about the incenst angle.
Robert Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Any idea on the extras for the Pillman DVD? I ended up doing a pre-order for that, and just wanted to know. Anything about the Piper DVD?

Mole Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I was going to get the McMahon DVD today at Circuit City, but I decided not to. I might just rent it from Netflix for the documentary because those matches are not worth a DVD buy.

That is NOT a good collection, considering all the amazing matches Pillman had throughout his career. Especially the tag-team cage match; if memory serves, it wasn't actually Steamboat and Douglas, but instead Steamboat and Tom Zenk underneath some kind of dumbass luchadore gimmicks. The Piper DVD on the other hand looks pretty damn cool.

Alltho I am interested in checking this one out, imma have to go the netflix route.
JimmyHendricks Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I bought Vince's DVD because it's a steal at 15.99 at CCity. The doc is 2 hours by itself. I can easily see it going up to $24.99 or so within a month, so I picked it up.
