Comments which don't warrant a thread

They've had the line-up pretty much locked once HHH went down, all they did was have doubts about Shawn/Cena and thought about making it a 4-way with RRKO. I think we can all agree they made the right move there. UT/Batista was locked months ago, I believe even before Survivor Series. This has been a pretty well established card this time around with ample time to build storylines.

I heard he's a bit of a cocky douchebag

He's a great kid with a lot of talent but he has an ego and a half and acts as though he is the end all be all. His heart isn't in it either he's about the money. This could have changed but that's how he was a few years ago.

raz, get serious...Cryme Tyme is easily more over than the Highlanders and Cade/Murdoch, by a mile.

And thus the reason they will never do anything with them.

I don't know about that Highlanders as the Bushwackers is quality comedy and Cade/Murdoch are starting to look good in the ring in a "We are emulating Dusty/Murdoch and/or All Japan 90's" both team are clearly better workers than Cryme Tyme. Cryme Tyme is more over on the backstage skits sure but once they enter that very ring they look like complete crap. One guy is jumping up and down like he is copying Too Cool Brian Christopher and the other guy looks like he can't last 30 seconds with Orlando Jordan. I would rather watch Rob Conway and the Quebecers version 2 have 6 man tag matches against Eugene/Duggan/Vis for 6 months than watch one match involving Cryme Tyme. I think the Spirit Squad is the benchmark for suck and even though they were DBZ Ginyu Force gimmicks at least they made it work in the ring when a team can't match the workrate of the Y boys then its time to go back to the gym to work on the basics.

Why say he's a great kid then, he sounds like a cocksucker.

I'm sure I'm not the only person to think it make a good photo to stand in front of Trump Tower and take a photo looking up at the sky, but damn if I didn't think WWE.com stole one of my photos off flickr when I saw a similar photo on the main page (my photo is slightly off center - probably because I didn't think it would a good idea to stand directly in front of the doors while their photographer could get away with it - and has clouds).

On that uninteresting note, if WWE is having a press conference in NYC on Wednesday, I hope my local mall isn't being visited by uninteresting jobbers next week. I didn't think Michaels would be there or anything, but who usually does show up at this Road to WrestleMania Axxess Tour deals? Hillbilly Jim and Funaki?

As far as personally he is a great kid, it's proffessionally where he's lacking class and maturity. Two very seperate things at work a person might be an asshole and think they're Gods gift, but in they're personal life they can be very grounded sometimes those two aaspects of lie don't connect. He was cool to hang with after a show but a bastard to work with.

There's a slight chance it could be, and that's a chance more than slight enough to toast this hot buttered reality zombie from the year 1480.

That worked out nicely... in a way.

The following is an "open letter" from Tommy Dreamer to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon posted on "ECW.Com" on March 22:

========

An open letter to Mr. McMahon:

You went through the halls meeting some of the ECW Originals, the guys that you got stuck with when you “purchased” ECW. You also stated that you were looking for guys with “charisma” in the new ECW. Where would WWE be without the influence of ECW?

I understand not liking Sandman because he drinks on the job, but let’s face it, you have been getting your ass handed to you by fellow beer drinker “Stone Cold” Steve Austin who, by the way, was given the green light in ECW to speak freely about his frustrations with WCW and former employer Eric Bischoff . He admitted that in ECW and where he was given free microphone time was when he started the “Stone Cold” persona. Austin got his finisher, the Stone Cold Stunner, from ECW Original Mikey Whipwreck. He also admitted that he got drinking beer in the ring from one Sandman. He always drank beer and saw Sandman do it, so he said, “Why not?”

As for charisma, Sandman is all charisma. His old and new entrance is one of the most exciting in the business. I will never forget One Night Stand 2005 when the entire building sang his entrance. Never before has WWE experienced that. I get the whole use of his old ring entrance ( Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman”) not being used, but the fans still love when his new music hits and he comes through the crowd.

Sabu. Is there any other performer that has single-handedly done anything close to what Sabu has done with tables? Sabu was and still is innovative with tables, but tables were barely used until he came along. What the fans chant for was unheard of back in the day before Sabu.

How many great matches have happened with the WWE invention of the TLC Match? Some of your top guys, Vince, have made a name for themselves and secured their place in WWE because of those TLC Matches. Those type of battles were a standard in the old ECW, and I beg someone to let Sabu go and do what he does best. Sabu also has a charismatic enigma about him. The guy truly is homicidal, suicidal and genocidal. Who else has scarred themselves up for the business like he has?

Rob Van Dam. I only have to state that no other competitor in WWE history has held on to more WWE championships than RVD. He has a unique in ring style, and the fans love him.

I will not slight that you have accomplished and revolutionized the wrestling business when the audience in the mid-1990s started to change. ECW brought this much needed change to the industry. I will go on record stating the entire “Attitude Era” had a strange resemblance to ECW.

Where would WWE be without the “influence” of ECW? I don’t know. It is very interesting to think about though. All three guys I’ve mentioned were an amazing part of all that. These are just some examples of the charismatic men that signified ECW. One word describes all this, and why we did what we did in the old ECW: passion.

Next week, I will state why we are different from the New Breed as well as why the new ECW needs these same guys to be successful and carry on the name ECW.

Sabu vs Jeff Hardy feud anyone?

Anyone?

Yeah... me either.

He also forgot to add how marketable Sandman, Sabu, and RVD all are as well. Lets be honest, if all 3 of them had the right kind of push that gave them a lot of merchindise, their shirts and whatever else would sell.

This can't be right. I would think Edge has him beat.

How many did Christian have before he left? I believe he had 9 or 10 tag title reigns along with a few European and IC reigns.

I don't know that a whole Sabu/Jeff Hardy feud would be necessary, but I'd watch a match between the two. I'm surprised TNA never booked it (they were on the roster together for a while, right?).

Raven held the Hardcore title 27 times if that counts...

If you counted WCW and WWE, Booker would be near or at the top.

From my figures it would be 33 reigns - if his last WCW title win during the Invasion counts.

well, people forget they dicked around with Edge, Cena and Orton for years before putting them in the spotlight.

Years? Wrestlers who debuted this Century shouldnt count...Edge on the other hand I understand...
