Seriously, is there a playoff quarterback who ESPN hasn't been accused of blowing? They turned on Pennington.

As a Niners fan, I want to see Terrell get his ring, although I'd prefer to see him pull a Willis Reed and play in the second half of the Super Bowl. Congratulations to the Eagles and the fans in Pennsylvania - they're 1 for 1 right now.

"Super Bowl Shuffle" was recorded weeks before the REGULAR SEASON ended.

Has Peerless Price done anything to warrant his contract?
-
...but the league revenue would take a turn for the worse.
-
...I vaguely remember the same outline, except that Vince wanted control of the footage of anyone under contract by Titan, editing-wise. That, and the money that goes with advertising the movie the way Lion's Gate did, exploiting the appearance of WWF likenesses.

It was an interview with the Rock which turned out to be fabricated by one of their writers. Thank god we have 1Wrestling.com.

He turned 59 last August.

Hawaii helped manage a surf shop/cafe in Honolulu (good). New Orleans had the cable access show (their shows usually sucked) Paris would write reviews for travel magazines, or some shit (meh).

Anybody wanna get in on an NBA 2K5 League? PM me or post here if interested - I hope to set up at least 8 users from TSM. Post your Live! tag for me for reference - mine's "claytronovich".

Jericho was only booked to show anger one time, and it was the night after WM, and he did a fine job. Jericho's character *is* a goofball, but that's not because of any limitations on his own talent. Didn't he have complete control of the angle?
-
I didn't say he was unmotivated, but people are defending Jericho's supposed lack of motivation by saying it's justified by the company's constant "burial" of his character.

Good draft, although I don't see the actual draft mirroring the #1-3 spots you have listed. 1. Niners - won't look to a skill position, unless it IS quarterback. 2. Dolphins - won't look for a back, gunning instead for Edge or Henry in the FA pool. They simply don't have the time to invest in a new back when their offense is so depleted. 3. Browns - Good pick, although he has to impress people at the combine to earn this placing. I could see the Browns shoring up a hole in their defense at this spot. 4. Bears - They should trade down and grab a receiver. 5. Buccaneers - Good pick.

Footnote: Example A. RVD + lack of motivation = "Let's bash him". Example B. Jericho + lack of motivation = "Let's defend him".

What happened in the WWF the day you were born?
Fökai replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Little did I know, the WWF took their touring schedule seriously... they ran THREE shows on my birthdate, including a television taping. On a weird note, Special Delivery Jones lost three different matches in two states ON THE SAME DAY. God, it must've sucked to be a travel agent for Titan back then. -
The Monday Night RAW Thread (January 17th 2005)
Fökai replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
Putting him into an interview segment with Jericho doesn't allow the Hassan character much freedom to distinguish his tweener side. People were just waiting for Jericho to throw his little catchphrases in. -
It's debatable?

I FUCKING HATE MIKE MARTZ!

Good lord. Here's a gem from Rome's show last week, which was a jaw-dropper to me due to its timeslot. "Simpson said that he hasn't seen a USC game in just over ten years - hmm, I wonder what OJ was doing a little over a decade ago? Oh, I know....he killed a waiter, his own wife and got off scot-free. NOW I remember." "O.J. should stay away from spectating, and participate in something he's good at....like you know, killing.""

EDIT: Damn the double post.

Wait for it... ....wait for it.... ONLY IN AMERICA!

NBA: Chicago Bulls: The '92 Finals with the Blazers started it - since then, I've been a die-hard fan. San Antonio Spurs: From David Robinson to Tim Duncan, I've been following them with less of a watchful eye than I have the Bulls. MLB: Atlanta Braves: David Justice and Greg Maddux made me a fan - I had a soft spot for the underrated players they had there in the early 90's (Lemke, Pendleton, Nixon, Avery, Wohlers). The Big Three and Chipper have established them as my MLB team. NFL: San Francisco 49ers: The team that my parents handed down to me. To this day, my mother and I will watch the game together (although this year has been brutal to watch). Our family loved Joe Montana and Steve Young, although I followed the receiver core with more of a vigor. NHL: Los Angeles Kings: Gretzky... and then later Ziggy.

It's as if the posters here don't understand what the word "developmental" means.

You've got the gist of the plot for the show. The show itself is worth watching - very interesting plotlines that should only be better with the wrestler angle this week.
