Fökai Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 With the Blockbuster Game Pass, these games were worn out all within a month by my two roommates and I (scores are for the games we completed or extensively played).... Burnout 3 (Xbox - 9.9/10) - Why? No custom soundtracks. Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox) Sloppy. Metal Slug 3 (Xbox) Extremely cheap. Def Jam Vendetta (Xbox - 9.5/10) Why? Repetetive matches between adding movesets. ESPN: NBA Basketball 2K5 (Xbox - 8.0/10) - Why? Great for Xbox Live with a decent multi-player, yet the cheap AI brings it down. Nascar Chase For The Cup 2005 (Xbox) Exciting multi-player, above-average career mode. Conflict: Vietnam (Xbox) - One word: Frustrating. NBA Live 2005 (PS2) - Looked better on the Xbox port, though the slam dunk mode held my interest. NOW PLAYING: Test Drive: Eve Of Destruction (Xbox) Fun game so far.
Renegade Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 3rd strike, Viewtiful Joe and Gitarooman for the PS2.

Ed Wood Caulfield Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Madden 2005 Def Jam: Battle For New York NBA Live 2005 Star Wars Battleground All were played on the Xbox. I brought Madden 2005 and Def Jam: Battle For New York, and am going to get NBA Live 2005 when I can. The Slam Dunk Contest is awesome. I could play that all day long. I didn't like Star Wars Battleground too much.
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 First off, UYI, that Mortal Kombat avatar of yours, is quite awesome. Now, my list of stuff I've been playing recently, most of it is old school, because it felt like breaking out the old games. X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (SNES) Tecmo Super Bowl (SNES) Lethal Weapon (SNES) Super Star Wars (SNES) Super Empire Strikes Back (SNES) Super Return of the Jedi (SNES) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (SNES) Def Jam: Fight for New York (Xbox) - rental

Guest Reservoir_Kitty Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Mortal Kombat: Deception (PS2) - it's sucking out my brain and stealing my free time. X-Men Legends (PS2) - another game that's slowly swallowing my soul. I'm glad I looked at this thread, I completely forgot about Dynasty Warriors Empires and Blood Rayne 2. Looks like I'll be renting me a couple games tomorrow after work. Yay! Maybe I'll back away from Deception for a while.
Use Your Illusion Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 UYI, that Mortal Kombat avatar of yours, is quite awesome. Simple, but effective, Mr. Bond.
Anya Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 MKD and MAT2. Noob-Smoke are awesome. They make me like Noob...

Guest Real F'n Show Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Lately I;ve been buying more games than I am able to play. I hear ya man. I haven't even opened X-Men Legends yet, I'm so addicted to MK Deception. However, it's become sort of a ritual that once the new Smackdown game is released, I drop everything and just play the hell out of it.

AndrewTS Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I'd like to seventh (or so, I'm not counting) MK Deception; also playing Katamari Damacy and Midway Treasures 2. "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - Yes Andrew, still." Hey, if you wanna prance around as a prissy, mincing, angsty buttplugger and immerse yourself in shitty, pretentious dialogue all the time--to this very day--that's your prerogative.
