AboveAverage484 Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I really don't eat very many fast food burgers anymore, I was just curious to see yall's opinions on them. Gotta go with Burger King, though.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I went with Wendy's, but I'll eat anything in front of my face as long as there are no onions on it...
Guest Smues Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Jack in the Box Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger. yummmmmm (other then the fact that they seemed to have started just absolutely loading on the ketchup lately when I get them).
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 The best burger franchise is without a doubt Lick's. Nothing else is even close. Although if you happen to live in Southern Ontario, Starr Ave Burger in Whitby has it beat.
CanadianChris Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 The Works in Westboro rules ALL burger joints.
Nighthawk Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Carl's Jr., by far. It's not the same as Hardee's. It's similar, but anyone who's had both knows the difference.
DerangedHermit Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Johnny Rockets That was pretty good except for the bun falling apart very easily... I want to go to All American Burgers...
1234-5678 Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I used to love the Whopper, but now that the Double Cheeseburger is on the dollar menu............... I dunno, it's a tough call.
Guest Cerebus Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 We don't have Jack in the Box or Hardees up here...
Red Baron Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Harvey's. Thats some good burger right there.
Secret Agent Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Nothing tops the 6 dollar burger. Not in fast food anyway.
AboveAverage484 Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 Another good burger is Backyard Burger. Anyone have one of those in their town?
Ravenbomb Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 The burgers at Sci-Fi Dine-in theater in Disney World own all burgers
Slayer Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Locally (and maybe in other Kansas cities, but I don't know), there's a chain called Spangles that makes good burgers for cheap ($1.50 for 1/3 lb-er) and then even sells them (along with other burgers like chili burgers or western burgers) for half-price on Monday nights Nationally, I'll go with Wendy's. Say what you will about the square burger, but I like it. Ranking in order of preference Wendy's Hardees (there aren't any around here, but I'll always stop at roadside ones while traveling) McD's BK (I never, ever eat there)
Special K Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 There's a ton of local places here in Seattle (Red Mill, Dick's) that warrant mention, but we don't have any places like Carl Jr's, Hardee's, Sonic, Rally's that are probably superior to most nationwide fast food places. So I voted for Jack in the Crack as fave nationwide since it's the only place I occasionally eat, and it's usually pretty damn tasty. I'll eat at Wendy's, but never the burgers. Honorable menton to Arby's for not actually HAVING burgers, but having some fine fast food sandwiches.
Youth N Asia Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I would go local with Halo Burger...but with the ones on the list I would go with BK...I can't stand Hardee's, and McDonalds is just nasty and gives the worst service ever.
Guest Nanks Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I may have mentioned this chain in another thread, but the best burger I've had came from a Melbourne chain called BBNT, which stands for Burgers Burritos Nachos Tacos. They cook everything to order right in front of you, all fresh ingredients. The burger of note is called the No Disrespect. It is 3 beef patties, 3 slices of cheese, 3 slices of bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato & ketchup. It's more than one can get their mouth around and absolutely delicious. I can't step foot in the stores without inhaling a No Disrespect. I deem BBNT's No Disrespect to be Best Burger. In other words, I chose "Other".
theintensifier Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I really like the Burger King type burgers, but I like the burgers I cook at the restaurant I work at the best.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Five Guys. D.C./Northern Virginia chain. Greasy, huge, wonderful. If you only want one patty, you have to specifically say as much.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Do none of you dudes have Whataburger.
Nighthawk Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I don't. Too bad, I do enjoy the occasional hamburger. Carl's Jr. is still the best chain, but I can name many great local places. The Texas Roadhouse actually had an excellent burger, with mushrooms and barbecue sauce and so forth on it, for about the same price as a fast food burger, considering you get fries with it.
the max Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 No Whataburger here, or Hardee's, or Sonic. Wendy's gets my vote. My favorite is the classic double with cheese, no lettuce or tomato, extra onions.
IllustriousOne Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I went with Hardee's. We've got a Backyard Burger here, and while it's good, it's not doing very well.
Corey_Lazarus Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Wendy's. I can still finish a pair of double cheeseburgers from McDonald's and BK with ease. Wendy's? I can barely finish one, but I always want more because of how damn tasty it is.
Guest Nanks Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I wish we still had the double & triple cheeseburgers here... Sigh.
The Czech Republic Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Do none of you dudes have Whataburger. I've never seen a Whataburger. Who here has Culver's.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Looks like Whataburger is a southern thing!
