Cabana's only 235 pounds. I wouldn't call him a big man.

He's a thick guy. Yes, he isn't tall nor massive but he isn't a beanpole or muscle guy.

if anything he's about the same size as a Monty Brown but less definition.

All I know is that if I could watch any one wrestler in the world right now (or whatever that question was they used to ask in PWI), it'd be Cabana and I dread to think how much he's going to be wasted in WWE/OVW. Sorry to sound negative and all, but as a massive Colt Cabana fan I've been half-dreading him leaving the indies for a while now.

Smark cap firmly off, it's good to see he'll be getting a good paycheck and some exposure nationwide.

But the chances of him being allowed to work like Colt Cabana worry me. Will they let him work comedy? Maybe. Will they let him work anything other than WWE 'comedy'? Maybe on house shows. Will they let him wrestle with the European style that he's spent the past few years building? Doubtful. Will they acknowledge his relationship with CM Punk? 50/50, IMO. Will they try and turn him into WWE's version of Colt Cabana? Probably and that's what worries me.

Size wise, I remember seeing him on Heat against Goldust and he didn't look so out of place.

From that one pic he looks really indy. Hopefully that doesn't hold him back, but I have my reservations.

Cabana's going to have to kiss-up to the right people if he wants to really make it in the WWE.

He'll be assigned to one of the developmental territories where I'm sure he'll both bulk up and lean out a bit. I mean training and working out is your full time job in the developmentals - I assume a guy like Cabana would have needed a "real life" job to earn a living. I think he has a good shot at making it to the show (and rather quickly) based on his mic ability. That's one thing that the wwe realized it is lacking with it's developmentals, who cut deer in the headlight and/or generic as hell promo's for the most part.

Look at pre-OVW and post-OVW Burchill for one example.

But at 6'1" and 235 lbs. he's going to have to be amazing on the mic and in the ring. That's really small to try to cut in WWE.

He's an inch shorter and about 20lbs heavier than Ken Kennedy, and an inch shorter though the same weight as MVP and same height as Punk and Elijah Burke, outweighing them both.

I don't know how Cabana looks "indy" when he always stood out from the rest thanks to his thickness, charisma and ability to do a variety of styles. He's roughly the same size (as Dragon said) as most of the current pushed mid-card which about where Cabana should be. He's a great comedy who has already done many WWE comedy skits, so obviously, they like what he can do with that. He worked well against other WWE talent.

WWE The Music Volume 7 is exclusive to iTunes. You also need to buy the entire album to get such hits as "Ron Simmons - D*mn", "Bobby Lashley - Unstoppable", and "Marcus Corvon - Smooth"

This probably sounds like one of those ridiculous "CM Punk's gonna win the World Title in 6 months coz he's the best wrestler evah~!" claims you get when indy guys get called up, but Cabana's probably as good a talker as 90-5% of the current WWE roster. It's whether he's allowed to show it, that's the problem.

It's not like CM Punk has been buried thus far. I'm sure Cabana will get a fair shake if he doesn't piss off the wrong people.

Hell, Punk did piss off the wrong people (Stephanie, Arn, Finlay etc, etc) and still got over and is getting a great push. As long as Vince sees something, you're safe no matter how much the agents hate it. Cabana is a fantastic promo, does great comedy skits which McMahon will adore.

When did Steph get mad at Punk?

I wanna hear more about the WM main event and the whole michaels/cena thing. Any more info on that?

What that people make up shit then credit it to Meltzer because they don't like Cena?
