Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Mankind's is so peaceful and distant - great, and didn't he have different music for when he won a match? Abyss for having the best music in TNA. Christian's opera theme is one of the best. It's good that it's unique but too bad there aren't more like it. And of course nWo.
Coolclint 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 The list is not complete without the following; "The Final Countdown" by Europe (Bryan Danielson) "The Champ is Here" by Jadakiss (Samoa Joe) Joe's more so, because it's so utterly perfect for his reign. The fans beating on the rails, Joe nodding his head along with the beat, and the lyrics themselves combining to create one of the most energetic entrances in wrestling. And as for "The Final Countdown"...c'mon, not only is it "The Final Countdown", but there are very few better moments in wrestling than Bryan Danielson jumping on the turnbuckle at the exact moment that the song (and a majority of the fans in the building) belts out, "THE FI-NAL COUNTDOWWWWWWWWWWWWN"
JST 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Mankind's is so peaceful and distant - great, and didn't he have different music for when he won a match? Yes, that would be the piano exit in order to "calm him down", because it reminded him of his mother playing.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2006 Stone Cold (original and 2001 version) Kurt Angle, WWE And "Real American" for Hogan. I was watching back some old WWF shows and threw on something from '03, when Hogan was using Voodoo Child, a couple of days later and it just seemed so wrong. pochorenella 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 Ultimate Warrior's theme kicks ass...you all know it. the one Don Muraco used during his final years as a face with Billy Graham in his corner... Ricky Steamboat's, of course Agreed regarding Warrior's theme, no doubt. Wasn't it "Jesus Christ Superstar" that Muraco used at that time? Or at least something that sounded just like it. Ricky Steamboat's theme was "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project. Great theme for sure, and I just love the seamless transition to "Eye In The Sky" (which Steamboat didn't use.) And as for "The Final Countdown"...c'mon, not only is it "The Final Countdown", but there are very few better moments in wrestling than Bryan Danielson jumping on the turnbuckle at the exact moment that the song (and a majority of the fans in the building) belts out, "THE FI-NAL COUNTDOWWWWWWWWWWWWN" I love it when he does that. As for a favorite, I've always loved DX's theme, and I want to mention the Hardy Boyz theme (the one Jeff is currently using). I'm not sure about the original name, but damn if it isn't a kick ass song.
Just John 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2006 Some great ones that have been missed: The Final Countdown (Bryan Danielson) Just Close Your Eyes (Christian) At Last (Christian) Metalingus (Edge) Spartan X (Misawa) Kaze Ni Nare (Minoru Suzuki) And whatever Muhammad Hassan's theme was called. Daivari uses it now.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 We need to have 'All-American Boys' (Fabulous Rougeaus) on this. How does that go, lyrics-wise? All American Boys for two guys from Quebec?
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 From Montreal To Memphis, Parlez-vous Francais? Tell all the girls, The Rougeaus on their way! We're not pretty boys, We're not a muscle head, We hate that long haired look, We like that preppy look instead! We're All American Boys, All American Boys, We're All American Boys, All American Boys, We don't like Heavy Metal, We don't like Rock N' Roll, All we like to listen to is Barry Manilow, On peut pas les sentir, Dans le monde ils sont les pires, On aime les faire facher quand qu'on dit "We love the USA" HEY! It was a beautiful theme. During their heel period when they tried to ingratiate themselves with the fans by claiming they loved America.

BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2006 The Freebirds theme was awesome. At the gimmick battle royal when I heard it at WM 17...I was marking out like crazy. I liked the Midnight Express' first theme...fit their attitude perfectly. One that hasn't been mentioned here that I was big on was Shane Douglas' theme in ECW..."Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple. Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2006 Metalingus (Edge) The name... ugh. And as for "The Final Countdown"...c'mon, not only is it "The Final Countdown", but there are very few better moments in wrestling than Bryan Danielson jumping on the turnbuckle at the exact moment that the song (and a majority of the fans in the building) belts out, "THE FI-NAL COUNTDOWWWWWWWWWWWWN" I can't listen to it without thinking of GOB. It makes his entrances much more amusing. I might have to go with Vader's theme from his early WCW run. He came out with that mask that had smoke come out once he removed it, and that mixed in with his music made Vader that much more intimidating. Vader was a mean motherfucker back in the day. Is that the same theme he used in mid-nineties NJPW? If so, yeah, agreed. Terrifying music. The theme Inoki uses in their godly 1996 match is also quite epic, and I nominate it. Ditto Stan Hansen's. 10 Pounds 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 I nominate the 4 Horsemen theme song, the mid-90's version with Benoit and Malenko. That song is just bad ass. Two themes I didn't see nominated are the ECW theme and Jake The Snake Roberts.
Guest Mr. Adam Report post Posted December 17, 2006 I'll happily second the Horsemen theme. I was watching some randon porn on Pornotube a couple days ago and it came on my Winamp. Too funny to hear that with what I was viewing. How about Mike Awesome's theme By Harry Slash. Really gave him a badass feel coming to the ring. See Guilty As Charged and Living Dangerously 2000 for examples of this.

Blade2kxx 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 You know... Chris Benoit's WCW theme was pretty damn cool too. Also, we forgot a massively awesome theme. GOLDBERG... Seriously, 'Berg's theme was perfect for getting the crowd ramped up.

Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 For those who would like to listen to some puro themes, check Madsplash. I would like to add AJ Styles' TNA theme, which,m while it makes no sense, gets me pumped up every time I hear it, and the theme Sabin used before his heel turn, that was really cool, the instrumental or whatever that's the base of it wasn't great, but the vocal stuff over it makes it so awesome. Sabu's Huka Blues theme and the TNA ripoff are both cool in differant ways. Abyss also has a nice theme. The odd thing is, I remember having an old version of it that was labeled as Jimmy Yang's theme, I think. That is bizzare.
JJMc 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 I always liked Flair's '91-'93 WWF theme. I actually prefer it to his current one. I'll also second Undertaker's current theme. Just awesome. And someone said Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw's...that was a forgotten gem. I think he continued to use it with the New Blackjacks and into his solo run in '98. The odd thing is, I remember having an old version of it that was labeled as Jimmy Yang's theme, I think. That is bizzare. did they change ajs theme a bit now? cuz at the beginn/intro of the song you hear softly the chorus "you are, you are, I am I am) was that always there? I dont think so. gotta throw in Windhams wcw theme from 91-92ish (before the wcw album song) plus The Hollywood Blondes theme (later just Austins theme)most of wcws generic stock music themes I liked. Eddie Guerreros first wcw theme (also used by chavo when he debuted and even Juvi for unknown reasons) which I remmeber well cuz it was also used by the local tv station in cali for when they televised local high school football games so the song was stuck in my head, and later his second, heel theme that Chavo also used (though it was maybe even cooler during the LWO when they added some guy yelling la raza! at the begin). currently Cryme TYME (though I liked the first version with the announcer saying "yo yo yo, pop a forty and check your rollies, Its Cryme Tyme", now it has "Yo yo yo, Sahd Gaspard and JTG its Cryme Tyme" and now their song has lyrics how can you not love the first part "No more Hollywood, this is Hollyhood" Samoa Joes is good, mostly cuz of the JAWS like intro, which is the warning of whos coming and you know it the minute it hits. and you have to throw in "Grab Dem Cakes" for funs sake

CheesalaIsGood 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2007 The Ultimate Warrior's theme hands down is the greatest song to ever intro a wrestler.
