Ultra Violence Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 So is Rey going to be choking people with random objects. injecting them with steroids and leaving bibles next to them after the match this summer?
vivalaultra Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 What I heard was that he had his knee on her back pressing her up against the floor. Seriously, the fact that he took the time to wrap her hands and feet and bash her in the head before strangling her seems to show some...mental process going on that would indicate that it wasn't just roid rage. And the fact that he killed his son the next morning. I don't know how long roid rage lasts, but I don't think it lasts over an extended period of days, and if it did, it seems like he would've killed both in the same stretch instead of, apparently, calming down after the first murder before committing the second.
Hawk 34 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 CONTENT OF TEXT MESSAGE REVEALED PWTorch can now report the content of the text message sent by Chris Benoit to Chavo Guerrero on Sunday morning. The message, according to our sources, said that the sliding glass doors to his house were open and the dogs had been fed. No one was quite sure what to make of it, but he wasn't reachable afterward for clarification. Dogs are fed and ready for a new home, come in through the back so you don't have to destroy the front to find the bodies. Chavo got the message on sunday morning, correct? Yet no one thought to check on him until the next day? There was a delay between Benoit sending the message and Chavo receiving it. It was mentioned at the press conference. No, I got that. I meant, why did they wait til monday to call the local police if he got the message which was sent apparently on saturday night the next morning?
Annabelle Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 My girlfriend asked me today that if Benoit loved wrestling so much, he could he have not know what he did would cause so much damage to the business? It's a great question that no one's really posed yet. i did, guy. and i love people saying rip benoit. he's a loser. i am more offended by people pandering to his bullshit & memoralizing him than any of the jokes. get real.
StrapFinlay Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I don't think the small of her back would get crushed up against the floor during the crossface. "The medical examiner found bruising on the small of her back and bruising on the front of her body consistent with being crushed up against the floor." I read that as the small of her back being bruised, and the front of her body being crushed against the floor.
geniusMoment Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 If he crossfaced her to death that move would have some kind of heat for Snitsky when he starts using it in a few months.
Downhome Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I'm only posting this because it's so weird. It's obviously just one of those things WWE.com makes up, with fake quotes more than likely, like the old wrestling magazines used to do: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/archive/snebenoit
Drury37 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Would a Center Stage-esque type thing be possible? Like try to stick one general place. I know that sounds ludicrous in this day and age, but just a thought.
Celtic Jobber Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 A report on the case from Inside Edition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kahBR537ZwM
Craig Th Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Jesus, I didn't really like seeing Benoit kiss his kid there in the ring. Fuckin bastard. What, did he tell his kid Mommy was just sleeping or something?
Downhome Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Shepard Smith's show is coming on, and oh boy is he building up the Benoit case.

Downhome Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Wow, Smith is actually mentioning Dynamite being Benoit's idol, and how in Pure Dynamite he talks about his own personal steroid used. I didn't see them pulling that one out.
MrRant Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 District Attorney Scott Ballard was interview on cnn Headline news by Erica Hill. Here are the highlights: - Once again, Ballard said Nancy Benoit was killed sometime on Friday, Daniel on Saturday morning, and Benoit killed himself Saturday night. - According to the medical examiner, Nancy was found with bruise marks on her back which is consistent with a knee being placed on her back, bruising on the front of her body suggesting she had been pressed against the floor, and her neck indicated she had been strangled. - There is no indication Daniel tried to make contact with anyone after his mother had been killed. - There were needle marks in Daniel’s arm, suggesting he was taking growth hormones for quite sometime. - Ballard suggested that Benoit may have killed his son with a chokehold. - Text messages from Benoit indicated that Nancy and Daniel were sick (probably sent when Nancy and Daniel had already been killed), and one messaged indicated that the pets needed to be let out. - Dr. Alan Lipman, also interviewed by CNN, suggested that in the past, Benoit was breaking up the furniture in the home and threatening Nancy.
Superfly Snuka Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Just saw the Atlanta Fox affiliate's news report from this morning. Didn't know that a neighbor was already at the house when authorities arrived initially and told them there was a dead body. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ4ZMW8bMG8
RonL21 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 will respect to that list.. I don't thinks it's fair for Owen to be on there and Yoko always had a weight problem I know what you're saying..but it's implying that these two were roided up druggies who had it coming
Youth N Asia Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I've been napping the last couple hours, have I missed any majr developments?

Hawk 34 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Shepard Smith's show is coming on, and oh boy is he building up the Benoit case. He did his research, thats for sure.
RonL21 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 To add something positve...The Benoit's had a lovely home
Nate Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 its really hard to put everything together in this whole mess, some people feel that we should honor the wrestler and not the person he apperantly was, and i can respect people if thats their way of greiving for someone then so be it, i do think the jokes about his death need to stop mainly out of respect of his family i think at the end of this whole mess WWE haters will use his death to smear WWE even further
StrapFinlay Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 District Attorney Scott Ballard was interview on cnn Headline news by Erica Hill. Here are the highlights: - Ballard suggested that Benoit may have killed his son with a chokehold. So the whole "he gave his wife a crossface hence her injuries" line may actually be true. This is getting more and more bizarre. Didn't he always used to front those "Don't try this at home" segments?

Yeah, I hear ABOBO refuses to post anymore after he saw a Benoit sig. Very sad.
Youth N Asia Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I'll admit to telling some Owen jokes to help me through the time, like writing "Owen's in the Ground" to the tune of Riders on the Storm, and enough is enough and it's time for a parachute. Making bad jokes about that actually helped me. With Chris my image of him is so shattered now I'm not the least bit sad for him anymore and don't need anything like that
AndrewTS Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 WWE.com has removed all the retrospectives. Though some has reappeared... http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/chrisbenoit/bio/ Two things you immediately notice about Chris Benoit: 1) he’s a man of few words, and 2) he’s one of the greatest technical wrestlers alive. Family and friends have always described him as “quiet” and “soft-spoken,” but his fellow WWE Superstars know better; they know that once Benoit steps inside the ring, he turns into the Rabid Wolverine, whose bite is infinitely worse than any bark. “Wrestling has consumed my life,” he says. “It’s my mistress, my passion. It defines a lot of who I am as a person.”
Atticus Chaos Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I think the guy was batshit crazy. He may not have been responsible for what he was doing. Look at Aileen Wuornos. It was a commonly accepted fact she was insane and a lot of people were against her being exectued.
mfn Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I feel so weird knowing that I teared up when Punk was giving his wishes to Benoit. I wonder how some of the other wrestlers feel?
Dangerous A Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 You can be against someone being executed because you don't believe in the death penalty, but it doesn't absolve you for committing premeditated murder.
