EWR 4.0 Has Officially Been Set Free!

Recommended Posts

Question:

Is it possible at all to have a successful turn if it's less than a year after the previous turn?

Like, I know the game discourages you from doing it, but has anyone ever tried it and had it go well?

Really? Whenever I've tried it I always get one of those "I think it's too soon" e-mails, so I never bothered with it.

You have to have them involved in a lot of stuff to make the change occur. That and attitude and behaviour must be high.

Hey . . . how does the whole bidding war thing work? Like, when I try and steal workers from TNA, who are way lower than me in PI, they reckon they 'don't think it's a good idea'. I mean I offered Matt Hardy 21 Million over 5 years, with creative control at Main Event level and he still wouldn't take it. And this is the TNA who lost they're TV deal straight after I left, and have only een doing monthly PPV's since.

Yet, over at the WWE, who are around similiar PI levels, the workers are much happier to leave . . . though there are some like Kurt who won't.

Wassup wit dat?

Stealing depends quite a bit on the attitude and behavior of the worker and his place in the company. High level stars in a company will not leave easily unless they have bad 'tudes, and they'll still cost mucho bucks.

As a note, Arsenic Editor has an easy steal feature that will solve most of these problems.

Yeah, I've got that, but it seems kind of . . . unethical to use it though. Oh well, I guess I used it to edit wages and stuff, and I'm thinking of using it to drop peoples overness without killing they're morale, so I guess it's all ok. It's just so irritating seeing people that I made into stars not wanting to work for me.

I was doing pretty good in my game, but when ROH became a Global company (with WDW having already been formed as a Global one as well) at the same time the preak rating was hovering at around 49%, I found my PI dropping monthly from the 100% it had been it at for months, and now everyone's morale keeps dropping.

Um...I was just messing around in my EWR game a second ago and saw that my tag champs hate each other...it wasn't like that before! Also, one of my created players seems to have developed a friendship with Jeff Hardy...which is weird as hell since I've never had him in my fed. What the hell happened?

Random relationships just kind of . . . develop as time goes on. If you keep people as tag team partners for a while, then either they'll become friends or loyal or something, or they'll start to hate each other, maybe if one has a bad attitude or one's more over than the other.

But yeah. weird shit can happen . . . like Hardy loyal to Mortimer Plumbtree, and Austin loyal to some guy named 'Chilly Willy'. Not to mention Dawn Marie falling in love with two different guys.

Shelton Benjamin rules all in my WWE game.

Brother never seems to have less than a **** match with virtually ANYONE I book him against, and he's been racking up the ***** star matches as of late.

Ok, I know this has probably been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone had the website with the most up to date Roster Updates, the most recent EWR 4.0, the most recent pictures, everything.

Thanks in advance.

I accidentally ended my contract on TV. Anyone know a way to get it back without having to keep sending out promo tapes?

I know there's cheap ways to edit everyone's stats and stuff

Copy the TV dat file from your start up file and place it directly into your folder.

Juventud Guerrera vs Scoot Andrews.

Match Background: Scoot and Juvi have been feuding recently. This match is for the SSPW World title. Juventud Guerrera has been SSPW World champion since 22 May 2005.

The Match: STIFF high kick on Juvi by Scoot Andrews. Juventud Guerrera avoids a Scoot Andrews avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Juvi just WAFFLES Scoot with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Diamond Dust from Juventud Guerrera, Scoot is out! Pinfall attempt, but the ref is out and can't count to three! Juventud Guerrera misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Spin kick by Scoot Andrews to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. SUPER frankensteiner on Juvi, who hit hard and is loopy as a result. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tiger suplex on Juvi. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, dammit. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Juvi reverses a Scoot Andrews hammerlock. Springboard reverse elbow by Juventud Guerrera. Excellent move. Looks like Muta has giving out lessons. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Juvi charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Juventud Guerrera grabs Scoot Andrews from behind and shoves him into the ropes, then scores with a roll-up...but Scoot rolls through with the move! He is using the tights for leverage! 1....2...3! The referee didn't see it! Scoot Andrews leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Scoot has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Juventud Guerrera to look for revenge.

My Opinion: This match had it all! Big bumps, incredible, crisp moves, sound psychology. Simply one of the best matches of the year. *****!

Scoot Andrews vs Juventud Guerrera.

Match Background: Scoot and Juvi have been feuding for quite some time now. This match is for the SSPW World title. Scoot Andrews has been SSPW World champion since 12 June 2005.

The Match: Scoot hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. Juvi walks into a high dropkick from Scoot Andrews, almost losing several teeth in the process. Second rope flying axe handle, Juvi goes down. One day, Scoot might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Scoot Andrews hits a rolling kick on Juvi. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Scoot Andrews misses a clothesline. Juvi uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Superkick by Juventud Guerrera practically knocks out all of Scoot Andrews's teeth! Covers for a quick two count. Scoot powers out of a headlock. Flying cross body off the top rope! There's a two count on the pin. Vicious kick to the teeth from Scoot Andrews. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Scoot charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Scoot goes down. Scoot Andrews pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Scoot hits a dropkick on Juventud Guerrera and gets right back up. Juventud Guerrera is in trouble. Forces Of Nature!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

My Opinion: *****! What can I say! It earned EVERY star. You, my friend, know what you're doing!

Hey how do you do a feud while still keeping peoples overness the same? Since I want my midcarders involved in feuds, but I don't want them to get over . . . is there any way to do this without using the editor, like are they're stupid angles which will take them down or something? Because when you're using feuds match's have more crowd heat and stuff don't they?

This has been asked quite a bit, but if anyone needs a copy of EWR 4.0 (the last version of the EWR game), as well as the patches, please PM me with your e-mail address, preferably an address with a large storage capacity. I'll send you what you need as soon as I can.

I have a question about gimmicks. For example, in the gimmick descriptions, it says the example for "Adult Film Star" is Val Venis, but then he has the gimmick and it says it's "not really working." What's the deal?

Also out of curiosity, would that gimmick work with a woman?

I'd also like that Arsenic Editor too, plz.
