The Ill One 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 A good time waster if you ask me, this is (loosely) based off that "Inside the Actor's Studio" survey. The Ill One 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 Favorite Writer(s): Nekura, Raynor, Edwin, Flesher, WC, and Renegade. Favorite Promo(s): Two words- Operation POOFNAR. Can somebody dig that up and post it? Pretty please? Dream Matches Involving Yourself: IL vs Edwin, IL vs Toxxic vs Aecas (something beyond hardcore), IL vs Dace, DIAB Dream Matches: Dace Night vs NotJ, ELM vs WC in a ladder match, Cyclone Comet vs Tom Flesher I've Become Most Friendly With: Renegade, we have more inside jokes than some of my friends do. I like Edward Norton for Fight Club (once you take it for a dark comedy it's fuckin' funny), American History X, and Death to Smoochy. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "When the Levee Breaks" Led Zeppelin One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Normally I'd say skateboard but my tail nearly snapped yesterday, so guitar. Something You Want to Get Into To: Boxing/MMA. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Either letting my grades fall so behind, not getting help sooner for some problems, and letting fights be priority when they shouldn't be. Biggest Turn On: Chick who can skate or likes decent music. Biggest Turn Off: Loud chewing or repeated usage of the word "like." If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "You're a fucker, you know that?" How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Shit, I don't want you here either." the.weej 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 Ah, what the hell. It's like a Livejournal quiz! The SWF Favorite Writer(s): All-time favourite is Edwin. Others include Sacred, King, Comet ('cause I can remember that far back), Kibagami, Tom and Wildchild. Favorite Promo(s): All time favourite? In the Fade. Favorite Match(es): Edwin vs Raynor at GIII is my favourite match ever written, and my honest pick for the best match in SWF history. Favorite Stip to Write: Never had one, honestly. I didn't write enough to really experiment with different stipulations. My Biggest Accomplishment: Writing "The Rise and Fall of Chrissy Stardust (And the Carnies From Mars)," as I was made from that day forth. I never lived up to the potential of it, but it's still probably my biggest moment as an active writer. Also, beating Tom Flesher twice, legitimately, (Still the only motherfucker to do that, awww yeah), and that whole 'becoming head booker' thing have to rate pretty highly. I Regret That: For the longest time, my biggest and most bitter regret was that Kibagami and I never got to complete out feud that began at the start of 2003, but... we kinda' inadvertantly ended up doing that just now, over a year later. So yeah. The story changed, and wasn't anywhere near as good as my original plans, but the build and blowoff were still almost as I'd imagined they would be. I Wish: At this point, there's absolutely nothing that I want to do as a writer, for the SWF, at least. Now my only wish is that I can find some way to somehow keep the SWF alive to the end of this year and into the next one. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Honestly, they're not 'dream' matches, as they all happened. I wanted to tag with Edwin (which I got to do) and write against Tom again when I got bumped. Never QUITE managed to recreate my success against him in the JL, but yeah. Dream Matches: Purely as a booker, I want to see the following: Janus vs Anyone for the world title, Crowe vs anyone for the world title, and Kibagami vs anyone for the world title. All three of them deserve it immensely and ooze the talent to reach the top of the mountain. I've Become Most Friendly With: Kibagami, Janus and Tom are easily the three best friends I have within the SWF, and are three of the best friends I've ever had. I Hope: The fed continues to succeed. Period. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Chris Belcourt. Whee. Single: Yeah. Have Most Trouble: Two things. Understanding what it is I really, truly wanting, reaching out and grabbing it when I have the oppertunity, and dealing with social anxiety. Yes, I'm quite fallable. Favorite Things to Do: Procrastinate. Most Recent Accomplishment: Getting very close to succeeding at a friendship I didn't think I'd get, completing the Kibagami/Zenon angle without really meaning to. Most Recent Failure: Don't ask. Favorite Bands: Pink Floyd is my favourite band in the history of everthing. Others are, vaguely organized by genre, the Pixies, the Clash, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Rush, and Opeth. Recently been listening to a LOT of Nirvana, so they might end up hitting this list before too long. I listen to truly eclectic amounts of music, but my favourite bands are really grounded. Favorite Book: "The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" - Douglas Adams Favorite Movie: Pretentious Film Buff Answer - Lawrence of Arabia Honest Answer - Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back Favorite Actor: Tough one. I could list favourite preformances, but probably not favourite actors. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: I get songs stuck in my head frequently. Currently I'm listening to Ayumi Hamasaki's "Dearest," which I'll inevitably replay before moving onto whatever else. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Thinking about it--like, really thinking about it, there's nothing I own that I value more than anything else. Maybe if I'd written down some of my story ideas on paper, but everything really, truly worth keeping to me is in my head. Something You Want to Get Into To: Legitimate writing is something I'm semi-busy looking at, so yeah. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Eh, how about I keep this to myself? Biggest Turn On: Tentacles. Wait. No. Fur. ...wait, shit, NO! Goddamn it, uh... it's um... er...! PASS! Biggest Turn Off: Bleeding hearts. Schoolchild naeivity. I'm jaded, what the fuck can I say? I could never like these people. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Sorry." How About Going to Hell, Devil Says: "I'm getting out of the business. Interested?" -Z
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Kibagami probably. All the ME types are great, but I love Flesher and Duran's commentary quotes. Favorite Promo(s): Whichever one I'm about to write. It never turns out quite as I want it to, but hey. For ones I've actually seen in my short time here - I'll go with any of Z's. Dude's talented. Favorite Match(es): Grap's Clusterfuck (RESPECT!), Clark * Coy vs The Wiggles had me laughing. Again, I haven't been around for any REAL classics Favorite Stip to Write: Hardly written any. But... Toxxic would hate me for this, but I'll say a one-on-one hardcore. As long as it's not a strap match against Janus or the Tag Match From Hell. My Biggest Accomplishment: Being where I am, when I am. And beating Dace. I Regret That: I didn't join earlier. I Wish: We had more people here. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: PPV vs Kibs with a decent backstory because i enjoy his writing style the most, i think. I'd love to have a crack at that Toxxic vs Aecas vs IL Hardcore match at some point too though. Dream Matches: Janus vs Kibs on PPV with build-up. Dace vs Kibs. I've Become Most Friendly With: Dace and Card. Cos Dace got me here, and Card's from Nottingham. Word. I Hope: I never view this as time I could have spent more constructively doing something else. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Mike Brooks Single: Nope. SO nope. Have Most Trouble: Flying without mechanical aids. Favorite Things to Do: Play guitar, write, draw, read, go to rock clubs and dance like a nutter to punk music. Shag (hey, I'm honest) Most Recent Accomplishment: Getting my new job by beating a dozen other people in the interview - even though some of them had experience and I just worked in a pub. Most Recent Failure: Never managing to revitalise my band promotion. OK so the venue we promoted at got sold and it wasn't our fault - still sucks Favorite Bands: Strung Out, Wildhearts, Bad Religion, Therapy?, Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Tool/Perfect Circle (add 'em together and they count as one), Lostprophets, and some small local ones you WON'T have heard of. Favorite Book: Probably Lord of the Rings. Word. Favorite Movie: Maybe the Crows. Maybe Fight Club. Maybe even Pirates of the Carribean. Quite possibly the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I like a lot of movies, but don't love one in particular. Favorite Actor: Alan Rickman. Maybe. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Boy Sets Fire - 'Rookie'. Or possibly the Wildhearts - 'Hate The World Day' One Item You'd Save During A Fire: This damn computer, probably. Or my guitar. Something You Want to Get Into To: Alyson Hannigan's pants. No, but seriously. I want to get into band promoting PROPERLY. Big-style. Biggest Regret/Mistake: I don't think I have one. Sue me. Biggest Turn On: It's the package as a whole that matters. Biggest Turn Off: Smoking. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "I'm a cunt and I fucked your friends over. I'll make it better I promise." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: *giving me an ultra-detailed map of all the world's inhabitants with a sign saying "Damn the Bastards" on top* "Point and click, my man." Favorite Stip to Write: Assylum Match... always had a hard on for those My Biggest Accomplishment: ...uh... showing? I Regret That: I was in the JL for 3 years I Wish: D-Red, Big Danny, Comet, and all those cool cats who fell off the face of the earth long ago were still here Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Me -VS- thugg. almost beat him long ago... and I'm still hoping that I've got his number the next time we meet Dream Matches: Thugg & Suicide King -VS- Edwin and Rane... the ULTIMATE face -vs- heel tag match. I've Become Most Friendly With: Spike (shock of the century, i tell ya!), IL, and a select few others in chat. I Hope: someday JD will actually sell something I do to him in chat. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Brian Aas (pronounced "OZ") Single: nope. Have Most Trouble: numbers. there's just too many of them. Favorite Things to Do: stuff. stuff rules. Ace309 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): I've always liked promos by Zed and Kibs, but for matches no one's going to beat Edwin. Favorite Promo(s): In The Fade. (Y) Oh, and possibly the Mag-7 ringing in the New Year, if I can stroke myself. Favorite Match(es): Edwin's first-person four-way, easily. Favorite Stip to Write: Submission! SUBMISSION! My Biggest Accomplishment: Two long reigns as a fighting world champion. Other people held it longer, but didn't defend it as often. I like to think I got close to Edwin's level. I Regret That: I briefly became Durandal for a short period in 2002. I Wish: I could have held the World Title long enough to break ELM's record while maintaining my level of activity. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: I've always wanted to face Stubby and King in properly built PPV matches. Dream Matches: Mak Francis and Suicide King in a quasi teacher-student scenario going for 45 minutes. I've Become Most Friendly With: Zed, easily. I Hope: The fed stays alive and regains some of its strength very, very soon. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Y'all know it by now. Single: Nope. Dating a cute Masters student. Have Most Trouble: Getting myself to do work that I don't want to. Favorite Things to Do: Read. Most Recent Accomplishment: Not quite yet - I just finished my last day of university classes, and I have two finals on Friday followed the next weekend by graduation ceremonies. Most Recent Failure: My last paper for PSC 313 sucked. Favorite Bands: Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, Rev. Horton Heat, Dropkick Murphys Favorite Book: Of Mice and Men Favorite Movie: My Blue Heaven with Steve Martin and Rick Moranis Favorite Actor: John Malkovich One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Dropkick Murphys, either "Fields of Athenry" or "Worker's Song" One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Well, now that my cat's dead... Something You Want to Get Into To: ... the practice of law? Biggest Regret/Mistake: Not working harder. Biggest Turn On: Eyes. Biggest Turn Off: Beards. janusd 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Kibagami, Toxxic, Tom, Crow... Favorite Promo(s): The Mag Seven celebrating Kingmas. If that doesn't count, Chrissy Stardust. Favorite Match(es): Spike vs Dace (DIAB), Va'aiga vs Crow (because V could never win ), the American Australian Gladiators match. Anything involving Silent. Favorite Stip to Write: Anything with no disqualification. Mucho fun when writing a hoss. My Biggest Accomplishment: Breaking Wildchild's Hardcore Gamers Championship streak. Then beating W&D for the tag belts. Then breaking Toxxic's undefeated streak. </gloat> I Regret That: I was the sole reason behind Mike Van Siclen getting bumped. I carried j00, bitch. I Wish: I'd gotten the ICTV title the first time (Zed knows why) Dream Matches Involving Yourself: *deep breath* Janus and Crow vs Aecas and Dace vs Wild and Dangerous vs Toxxic and Liston, in a four way tornado tag Damnation In A Box. Dream Matches: I...honestly can't think of any off the top of my head. It's morning, bite me. I've Become Most Friendly With: Zed tops the list, followed by Crow. They're about the only guys I'm most friendly with, though I seem to get along well with Silent and Tom. I Hope: I'll actually BE in the world title scene. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Terry Bailey. Not Terrence. And my middle name is -almost- Janus, too. Single: Nope. Boyfriend. (Yes, you read that right) Have Most Trouble: Doing things that are 'important'. Favorite Things to Do: Read books, write stories, surf the internet and talk to friends. Most Recent Accomplishment: Going to my first job interview. I was nervous as fuck. Most Recent Failure: Looking like I pretty much failed said interview. Favorite Bands: Invalid question. I have a lot of music by some artists, but no overall favourite, really. Favorite Book: I'll be elitist and say the Hobbit and the LotR books. Favorite Movie: The Crow. Beautiful story and setting. Favorite Actor: Uh... *shrug* One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Sakura Wars - Geki Teikoku Kagekidan. Obvious. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Sentimentally, probably the teddy on my shelf. Realistically? My wallet. Unrealistically? My entire computer and DVD collection. Something You Want to Get Into To: Scriptwriting and getting paid for it. Biggest Regret/Mistake: The girlfriend debacle. Biggest Turn On: Just to appease all you bastards out there. Guys. And Fur. Biggest Turn Off: Pretentious, elitist assholes who think they're superior. Sorry, Z. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "What the hell are -you- doing -here-?" How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Time for HC!" (heh, like anyone will get that.) Chuck Woolery 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Edwin, man. I was also a huge Xstasy mark back in the day, and continue to steadfastly maintain that he was held down by the rest of you fuckers. Favorite Promo(s): I can't remember the name of it, but there was a Midnight Carnival promo in which Edwin, King, Spark, Mark, and Raynor went through McDonald's drive-through in the Love Rollercoaster, and spoke nothing but German through the speaker. I still love that one -- "Chicken McNuggets For The Soul", I believe it's called. Favorite Match(es): American Gladiators was easily my favorite to write, and I still don't think I'll ever have -that- much fun writing a wrestling match ever again. As for matches I've read, I'll admit there aren't many to choose from, but I'm going to go with the first ELM/Tom match; Submissions/Ladder, or Ultimate Submissions, I can't remember which. Favorite Stip to Write: Again, American Gladiators, with ease. Lost at Sea was an excellent stip as well, and I was kinda happy when that was being considered for JL MOTY. 'Course, I lost, but I maintain that I was robbed and it was only my superior self-esteem that kept me from committing suicide. My Biggest Accomplishment: The Double Jeopardy tag reign is the one I had the most fun with, but winning the JL belt and subsequently getting bumped is my biggest accomplishment easily. It's magnified when I go back and read the prediction thread, and how everyone picks Janus to win. Never gets old. To a much, much lesser extent, I'm proud of beating Mak, and nearly beating Danny Williams in the Genesis IV tournament. I had a much better match get deleted, and had to write a shitty match against Deathwish, but it was that short series that made me feel like I really could beat each and every one of you motherfuckers. I Regret That: I didn't stick with Quiz longer, and the elaborate angle a few of us planned out involving Marv Griffin and the Network didn't pan out. I Wish: For a World Title reign? Hell, at this point I'd settle for a USJL title reign. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Double Jeopardy v. Justice and Rule, straight-up tag. I'm going to maintain that SS and I would've beat them until Ejiro and Judge get fed up and job our asses out. Dream Matches: Xstasy v. Edwin, proper, face v. face on the biggest show ever. In addition, the inevitable Grap/Tom encounter, and Stubby v. Thoth just for our general amusement. I've Become Most Friendly With: Supes and Zack, I suppose. All you kids are pretty cool. I Hope: Janus'll stop harping on carrying me to the WF and admit that he's merely jealous of my superior height and writing ability. ...hey, it's hoping. Personal Name: Joseph P and that's all you get. Single: Single playa, man. Have Most Trouble: I don't have trouble with anything. I rule. Favorite Things to Do: Hockey, talking, filming, acting, and writing. I lead a simple life. Most Recent Accomplishment: Getting head in the back of a Subaru while tripping on salvia. God bless Keith James. Most Recent Failure: Actually tripping on salvia. Truly not as fun as one might think. Favorite Bands: Nothing good, alas. Nas' "Illmatic" has gotten some play recently, Usher's "Yeah" is orgasmic right now. "Popular' by Nada Surf is getting some play, and at the moment I'm on an Obie Trice kick. Happy? Favorite Book: 1984 Favorite Movie: At the moment, Requiem for a Dream Favorite Actor: Edward Norton. Have you seen a bad Edward Norton film (we won't count The Score) One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "Yeah" by Usher and Ludacris. I refuse to give Lil' Jon credit as a vocalist on this song. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My deck of cards. Poker solves everything. Something You Want to Get Into: Annie's pants. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Too many to name. Biggest Turn On: The female body at its finest form. Biggest Turn Off: Men. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "It took you long enough." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Wrong room, head upstairs."
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Flesher, Edwin, MVS, Kibs, Z Favorite Promo(s): In the Fade, The Luvin' Spoonful, Chrissy Stardust Favorite Match(es): Flesher vs. ELM, Ultimate Submissions. Edwin vs. Raynor, G3. TNT vs. ELM, From the Fire. And to toot my respective horn, American Gladiators. Favorite Stip to Write: Two words: American Gladiators. Like Mike said, that's the most fun I've ever had writing a match. Also, the Clusterfuck was pretty fun despite the enormous word count, and I enjoyed the Two Straight Falls stip. My Biggest Accomplishment: Clusterfuck and subsequent World Title victories (despite the fact that the latter was a no-show victory) I Regret That: I burned out and left the Double Jeopardy angle high and dry. I Wish: I'll get back to you on that. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Double Jeopardy vs. Justice and Rule; vs. Flesher, and vs. Judge again, because I've improved since our last encounter and I think our styles would go well together. Dream Matches: Flesher vs. MacPhisto. Make it happen. I've Become Most Friendly With: Mike, Tom, Z. Hell, I like all of you. Well, most of you. I Hope: Fed flourishes. Yep. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Matt Single: Yessir Have Most Trouble: doing things early Favorite Things to Do: write, read, swim, watch Angel, hang out...yeah, the simple stuff. Most Recent Accomplishment: Being 3rd in the sophomore class Most Recent Failure: Doing poorly on a history exam (damn you, lack of essays!) Favorite Bands: Led Zeppelin, Prince, AC/DC, The Flaming Lips, Electric Six~, Dream Theater Favorite Book: To Kill a Mockingbird Favorite Movie: Angel (what, that doesn't count? uhh...), Pulp Fiction, Schindler's List Favorite Actor: Alexis Denisof One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "Brick House 2003" by Rob Zombie, Lionel Ritchie, and Trina. Oooooh yes. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Apryl Something You Want to Get Into To: Screenwriting. Yeah, I've started, but haven't actually gotten anything completed. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Can't think of one off the top of my head. Biggest Turn On: Personality Biggest Turn Off: Those goddamn Southern Heritage shirts. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Damn, that is a nice suit." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Your cellmate is a furry." ...oh, what we would WANT him to say? Uh, nevermind.
Above Average 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Everyone says Edwin, so I'll forgo the obvious. Danny Williams, Chris Wilson, maybe a little Sacred on the side Favorite Promo(s): The entire promoWARS period (Chrissy Stardust most definitely), and getting mentioned in an Edwin promo after I used him for one in the JL. Favorite Match(es): Forget the obvious, which includes Danny's Ironman, too me anyway. TV: Z's fourway in the JL, Judge tapping out to a tickle, Edwin vs. Lerrin Breggan w/ JD as special ref in the original Canadian Death Match, because I thought there was NO way Edwin was pulling that one out. PPV: The J&R v W&D v Deja Vu TLC, SS showdown and Edwin v Thugg v Bo LMS, Edwin vs. Wilson, Wargames (just for the idea alone). I pretty much grew up on Edwin's championship run, and when I saw those matches I went, *wow* I'm gonna have to write against this guy... And just to push my own agenda, my first person Clusterfuck match... Strangler and King praised it's atmosphere like no other, and it STILL lost to TNT's match. Favorite Stip to Write: Ironman or ladder My Biggest Accomplishment: Getting the chance to almost hold all three JL titles at the same time or beating out Flesher's ICTV title run (the lone victory I have over him) and having Mark Stevens tell me he thought I was doing a really good job as ICTV champ I Regret That: Drew and I didn't get bumped in time to be in the original M7/Carnival incarnations. We deserved a shot at that, but for whatever reason it wasn't meant to be. I Wish: That I could outwrite Flesher once like Z did. Maybe get the World title, but I don't need that. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: A teacher student with Flesher. Singles match with Divefire and Tag match with Wilson. If I was bumped earlier I would have had to been booked in a match with Edwin in some form, even if it was just filler in the M7/Carnival feud, hence why I'm still upset about the goings on. I got to work with Sacred (!) @ Genesis and Thugg, no matter how brief it was. Dream Matches: I'd like to see this Landon Maddix kid go with Erek Taylor. Maybe I've Become Most Friendly With: Drew Kelk, no doubt about it. I Hope: To have Mak Francis meet a fitting end, if I ever wanted to write again. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Kel Single: Yep. Have Most Trouble: Trying to become a Civil Engineer Favorite Things to Do: Run ball, watch WWE, Dry Humpin' in da club Most Recent Accomplishment: On an athletic trip with my team, playing pool recently with a chick, I've kinda wanted to hook up with and teaching her the finer points of a good pool stroke, upon her insistence. Best believe she had the ass. And we danced hardcore-serious dry humpin'-probably could have made me bust a nut-in the club. Most Recent Failure: Not being able to get a few of the other guys on the team to leave the room and not getting anywhere with said chick anyway, because she was literally talking to her boyfriend on the cellphone(while talking to me in the bed) while we're chillin' in her hotel room. Ouch, I am a safe cuddle bitch, or what? Eh, it's probably better that I stay friends with this girl anyway. As long as we can still get our grind on and be chill, there are other fish in the sea who aren't virgins (and all the problems that that entales) Favorite Bands: Bands? What the hell are those? Nah, kidding G-Unit, Jackson 5, N.E.R.D, the Roots, Black Eyed Peas, Evanesence (hope I spelled it right, because come on, I am black... you can't expect me to actually know their name) Favorite Book: Linden Hills by Gloria Naylor and suprisingly I want to get around to reading these damn Harry Potter books while on co-op, because I get bored at work and after catching those movies with my cousin, I kinda want to know the backstory. Favorite Movie: Scarface, Half Baked and too many more to write down Favorite Actor: Dave Chapelle, bitch! One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Past: Puff Mase and Biggie's 'Mo' Money, mo' problems', Jackson 5's 'ABC', and Jim Hendrix's 'Voodo Chile' Recent: Talib Kweli's 'Get By', Kanye West's 'Through the Wire', Prince's 'Musicology' and all of G-Unit's recent songs One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My own ass. Something You Want to Get Into To: I'd love to learn how to spin. Two of my friends are DJ's and I love music. I'd also like to learn the piano, or drums and breakdance well(which I'm trying to do as we speak) Biggest Regret/Mistake: Biggest Turn On: A nice ass. You can be black, white, hispanic or asian/pacific. Have Red, blonde, jet black or brunette hair, but if you have a nice ass and dance moves, or even just enough to grind with me on the actual fucking beat for christ's sake, you're good. Biggest Turn Off: A weak ass, oh yeah, stupidity too. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "No, masturbation is not a sin. You may enter--"... wait... uh, I meant, ah, I'm going to hell. How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Now that you're in hell, Kel, we've decided on your punishment. You will become rich and famous... get as many lap dances and have as much sex as humanly possible with Jennifer Lopez, but she'll eventually milk you dry, get you arrested and or cause your movie career to go in the toilet." Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Suicide King Favorite Promo(s): Zenon's Promo with Ann Onita, playing on his own madness comes to mind. Along with Kibs just going that he'll fuck up Zenon good. Favorite Match(es): Double fall to win match. I can't fucking thing straight, but it was the one Flesher won. I remember that much. Fucking awesome stuff. Favorite Stip to Write: Just a regular match. Or a spotfest, depending on my mood. My Biggest Accomplishment: None yet. I Regret That: I've let the past get to me so much that I either balked up or fucked up. Hopefully, I'll shrug that off here soon. I Wish: I don't know what I'd wish for. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: I can't say. First I've got to have good matches. I'll worry about dream matches later. ...although, I'd like to face Suicide King, just once. Dream Matches: I don't really have any. If it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. I've Become Most Friendly With: Anyone and everyone if I choose. At least, I think I'm friendly enough that I'm likeable. I'd say Clark though. I Hope: Someday to fulfill a promise to an old friend. Have nothing fuck with that and let me have that chance. To do that would be everything for me. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Dorian Sookochoff. If you really wanted to know, you can find out, so I don't really care if you know. Single: Of course. Who'd date me? I'm geek to the max. Have Most Trouble: Everything. I've been kicking myself down so much about how my life is just one big boulder of suck that I haven't turned that around. For some reason, I feel like something different is now happening... Favorite Things to Do: Write (contrary to what I've done here), bike, play video games, play Asheron's Call 2, be with my friends (meaning you guys here *laughs*), read, have fun and that. Most Recent Accomplishment: Nothing I can say recently. It's been a long while since I've had something that I can honestly say was a true accomplishment. And a job doesn't count. Most Recent Failure: Getting a job. Favorite Bands: I don't really care as long as it sounds good. Favorite Book: Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings Favorite Movie: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (currently) Favorite Actor: Sean Astin (currently) One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Um... Just one? I repeat everything till it bleeds my ears. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: I don't think I've got anything of sentimental value that I'd go out of my way to save. If it was alive though, it would be my lovebird, Coco, because she's the world to me. Something You Want to Get Into To: Meh. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Never telling Yanni how she was the world to me while she was still alive. Biggest Turn On: Catgirls. ...yes, I'm a hentai. Do I look like I care about your opinions of me? Biggest Turn Off: Lots of stuff that I can't think of off the top of my head. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: Probably the standard stuff of how I'm a good guy and that. How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "How the fuck did a goodie little brat like you get into my domain!? Oh yes, I'm going to have fun torturing your soul, boy. Yes indeed I- ...wait, sorry, I'm mistaken. Your paperwork was misfilled and you should be in Purgatory. Gr... NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE~!!!"
Crowe 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favourite Writer(s): Janus, Zed, Kibagami, Sacred, Sean Atlas and Flesher. Favourite Promo(s): Recently? Circling The Drain. In the past? I loved my "Prepare For War..." promo. *toot* Favourite Match(es): I really don't know. Favourite Stip to Write: Anything with hardcore rules, baybee! My Biggest Accomplishment: Beating two highly respected veterans in Sacred and Sean 'Spike' Atlas to capture my first title, which just happened to be the SJL World Heavyweight Championship. Then successfully defending and holding the belt for fifty-two days. I Regret That: I fell into the curse of no showing and quit due to lack of motivation and feeling burnt out. I love this federation and I chumped out when it got too hard. I Wish: That I could recover the writing form I was in when I won the JL belt up until the end of the Crow vs Janus feud. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: vs Kibagami, vs Dante Crane, vs Mak Francis, vs Tom Flesher (that I show for), vs Sean Atlas (the rematch, baby!). Dream Matches: Janus vs Flesher, Kibagami vs Toxxic, Mak Francis vs Janus I've Become Most Friendly With: Galatea, Janus, Zed and Crusen. I Hope: That success wil be something I experience often in my return. Personal Name: Markus Cirillo Single: Yes, but interested in and chasing another. Have Most Trouble: Favorite Things to Do: Writing, makking, listening to tunes and chillin', motherfucker. Most Recent Accomplishment: Um, nothing really. Most Recent Failure: Nothing really either. Favorite Bands: Opeth, Katatonia, Nevermore, Pain Of Salvation, Killswitch Engage Favorite Book: The Lord Of The Rings, The Shining Favorite Movie: The Crow Favorite Actor: Johnny Depp One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Currently? So Beautiful by Pete Murray. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: I don't know... Xbox + Games, Computer, Wallet, Porn, Phone, fucked if I know. Something You Want to Get Into To: The Porn Industry Biggest Regret/Mistake: I regret nothing when it comes to my personal life. Biggest mistake though? Probably losing all kinds of motivation during my last year of high school and fucking up my grades, resulting in myself not getting into university. Biggest Turn On: When bitches suck my fingers, when bitches act all sleazy and make the first move and candles. Biggest Turn Off: Arguments and ignorant opinions about certain issues. Also, if the girl likes John Edwards, I will hate them, and if they have a problem with my lip and my use of racial and homosexual slurs, they can fuck off. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "How DARE you fly up here!? You are the thing this place is not meant for, as you are an angry, spiteful, drug addled and unbaptised heathen. You belong in hell." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Whoa! It's the Antichrist Superstar, I'm your biggest fan! Have a bong with me!"
Guest Fire and Knives Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Flesher and Z. Edwin’s the best pure writer we’ve ever seen, I know, I know, but Flesher’s got a mind for wrestling Edwin can’t match, and Z has a slight edge in the wrestling department while still managing to bring the descriptive prose and funny commentary that made Edwin so popular. Favorite Promo(s): Color Your World and Comet’s farewell promo, which I don’t recall the name of. Favorite Match(es): Edwin/Raynor, the Carnival Wargames match, the Zenon/Kibagami/deKindes triple threat, Silent/Z part II. Favorite Stip to Write: Last Man Standing. My Biggest Accomplishment: There’s two: finishing the Edwin angle, and finishing the Zenon angle. Edwin/Silent stands as one of the best matches written for this fed, period – my goal with that angle was to produce something that would always be remembered, and I like to think I’ve succeeded with that. I’m particularly proud of the Zenon/Kibagami angle because of how long it took to write it. I owed him a blowoff match, and we just happened to put on a fucking clinic as to how to write story-driven matches. So yeah, I’m proud of that. I Regret That: My drug habits and general flakiness have prevented me from producing more than those two fantastically memorable matches. I have stories in my head for half the characters in the fed, and each of them would be as revered as anything Edwin’s ever done if I could only muster the discipline to write them down. I Wish: I wish I could find the resolve to go out and write a decent World title run for myself. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Toxxic and Janus on PPV, a title match against Flesher, and a hardcore match against Dace – there are no two characters better suited to fucking each other up than Dace Fucking Night and the Silent One. Oh, and if there’s a God in heaven, He will find some way to provide for me a competitive match against Edwin. Edwin’s the only person I’ve seen in three years with this federation who made me think, “You know, I might not be able to beat that one.” Dream Matches: I would’ve liked to see an Ejiro/Danny series, and a Flesher/King match would be money. I've Become Most Friendly With: Z, easily. We’ve discovered that he’s more or less living my life. I hope to be around when he discovers sex and drugs. Have at them, Z. I Hope: That the fed continues to prosper, and I prosper right along with it. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Brian Wood. Single: Been dating the same girl for over a year. How did this happen? Have Most Trouble: Committing to things. Favorite Things to Do: Poetry, music, long winding conversations about THE NATURE OF EVERYTHING, drugs, sex, lambasting people that are stupid and/or disagree with me. Most Recent Accomplishment: Organizing, promoting, and starring in a remarkably well-received local poetry reading. Most Recent Failure: As much as I hate jinxing myself by saying it, I haven’t failed at anything substantial in a really long time. I did spend too much damn money at the mall today. That’ll have to do. Favorite Bands: Oh, where to begin...um. Anti-Flag, J-Live, The Roots, Modest Mouse, Waits, Suicide Machines, Streetlight Manifesto, Costello, Chemical Brothers...shit, this is hard. You get the idea. Favorite Book: “, Said the Shotgun to the Head”, by Saul Williams. Favorite Movie: “Dead Poet’s Society”. Favorite Actor: Ethan Hawke. I haven’t seen him turn in a bad performance yet. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: “The Last DJ”. Best song I’ve heard in years, hands down. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My notebooks. Something You Want to Get Into To: Guitar. It’s hard as hell to communicate my more lyrical ideas effectively without a musical vocabulary of any kind. Shit, I don’t even need to play guitar – I just want to learn to speak Musician. Biggest Regret/Mistake: I wish I had mellowed out three years ago instead of getting as angry as I did over a variety of things that went wrong in my life. Yes, I have mellowed out – this is me playing nice with all of you. Biggest Turn On: An elegant face. I absolutely hate a girl with a pudgy, undefined face. Sounds weird, but I swear to God, I can’t stand anything less perfect than a model’s facial structure. Biggest Turn Off: A shrill voice. If your voice sucks, I’m going to kill you. Harpy bitches need not apply. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: “You were right all along; I don’t care what you eat or who you sleep with as long as you were a good person. Welcome aboard!” How About Going to Hell, Devil says: “You were right all along; all I did was set people free. Good and evil are social fictions, and it’s no warmer down here than it is up there. Welcome aboard!” K.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 I have about 40 pages to write over the next week and a half. Damn you, IL. SWF Favorite Writer(s): Stevens, King, Raynor, Thugg, Xstasy, Kibs, Z. I could make a case for anyone but I've got the fondest memories from the old-school days. Favorite Promo(s): "Chicken McNuggets for the Soul." The one where the Clan were controlling John Kruger with a frickin' radio. Chris Wilson blows up FAO Schwartz. Flesher's King's Road. Anything Kibs ever wrote that wasn't a clip-show promo. Comet's promo was called "Wish," and that's one of my biggest old-school favorites. Favorite Match(es): Edwin/Raynor Genesis III, which I will once again reiterate was 80% him. I'm not sure if everyone remembers that. That 6-man tag between Danny/Dace/Kibs and Nefarious-Ass-Heels-9000, aka Justice, Rule, and Janus, which was probably my personal favorite match during my SWF CC stint. So much old stuff, too. Basically, if you were on the card at Genesis III, I loved it. Favorite Stip to Write: A regular old No-DQ after three months of storyline build-up. Tag matches with a partner you know. My Biggest Accomplishment: Helping Mark Stevens retire. A year ago I would have said my super-fun World title run, but hey, priorities. I get to help put together the send-off for a great guy whose work in the fed I really admired. And he was kind enough to let me help. Close seconds are the M7/Carnival promowars monstrosity of Summer 2002, and actually coming back for G4 to have a match with Kibs. I Regret That: I didn't blow off the Kibagami angle earlier. And that I never got to work with Mak, Flesher, or Z nearly as much as I wanted to. Especially Z. I always kept telling him how he was going to be huge, huge, amazing, and then we both went and retired. I Wish: That I had been able to keep writing. Looking back, I think "how'd I ever do that?" and wish I could recapture the ability to write 12,000 words a week, be it for this or anything else. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Me. Kibagami. Competitive. That's the only other thing I could want from this fed. Well, that, and an Edwin/Stevens vs. King/Raynor tag match, which would be great, great fun. Dream Matches: Too many to list. Any permutations of a tag match with King on one side and Mark on the other, whether or not I'm involved. TNT vs. C4! Stryke vs. That Other Dude He Was! Z vs...a tire iron! I've Become Most Friendly With: Guys like King and Mark who I talk to all too infrequently. Kibs. Oh, and of course TNT. If I had his music taste at his age, I feel like I'd have turned out even more awesome. I Hope: that the fed gets new guys now that board registrations are re-opened, and that Genesis V continues the great legacy of our anniversary show. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Paul Hitler. I actually won't give my last name because if I do, I bet you bastards will call me until I change my number. Poopsmiths. Single: Well, technically. Does it count if she's an ex-girlfriend? Have Most Trouble: Getting myself to be efficient. I always get everything - be it academic, work-related, or whatever - done and done well, but often at the expense of well-managed existence. Favorite Things to Do: Kill the lights and listen to My Bloody Valentine, DJ Shadow, or Portishead. Watch Road House in a tightly packed apartment while eating a giant tin of fried chicken. Rap for people for the first time, thereby scaring them. Delicious, delicious sophistry. Most Recent Accomplishment: I finished Ulysses. You should too. It's incredible. Most Recent Failure: Signing myself up on Thefacebook.com, a weird colleges thing not unlike Friendster. So. Fucking. Retarded. Favorite Bands: Prince. The Pixies. Beatles. Outkast. Wu-Tang. U2, if not so much lately. Modest Mouse, MBV, Velvet Underground. I'm not going to list all 340 or so. Favorite Book: Possibly The Sun Also Rises. Six months from now, it might be Ulysses. Favorite Movie: Sentimental choice - The Seven Samurai. Practical choice: Pulp Fiction. Or Rushmore. Or Purple Rain. Favorite Actor: I don't watch enough movies lately. But it's got to be Bill Murray. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: TV on the Radio, "Staring at the Sun." Hypnotic much? One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Like everyone else, I'm thinking the computer is a reasonable choice. It's just a laptop, so it's pretty easy to manage, too. Something You Want to Get Into To: Reading all the old X-Men comics. It's nerdy as hell, yeah, but I'm frickin' enchanted by these little freaks. I also want to take up literary editing - layout, publishing, all that. It's time to get career-oriented. Hello, grad courses next semester. Biggest Regret/Mistake: That's awful sweeping. I'm happy to say I don't think I've done anything life-destroying in my 20 years. We'll go with "ever buying the Lo-Fidelity All-Stars album, just because it had a particular song I liked very much." Stopping theater was disappointing, but after seeing how lame the groups here at UVA were, I'm not so sorry I bailed. Biggest Turn On: Someone who lays her head on my shoulder. The ability to engage in competent discourse about the collected works of Ghostface Killah. Biggest Turn Off: Shitty hygiene. Take a goddamn shower already! If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "You got served! No, just kidding. Buffet's open till 8." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "I too enjoy the Wu-Tang Clan! Let's be friends."
chirs3 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 Favorite Writer(s): Edwin MacPhisto, Z, Tom Flesher, Silent... if I'm allowed to go way back, I simply must give mad props to Cyclone Comet... Favorite Promo(s): Gosh golly, so many... -- Edwin's "In The Fade" -- Edwin's "I Can't Remember the name of it, but it's him and Fallout in a bar." And one of his "During the show" promos where he's in the hospital. Not so much for his crazy hospital antics as for his lead-in from commercial break being an ad for "STIGMATA II: CRAZY FOR THE MARKS OF CHRIST", starring Chris Wilson and Magnifico. I literally fell out of my chair for that. -- Wilson's "The Carnival in Toyland" -- Comet's "Cyclone Comet Dispenses Justice!" -- Comet's "Prime Evil Promo" -- King's Old Poker Game Promos -- King's "Revenge is a dish best served in Vermont" -- King/Stubby/EVIL promo where the GSMS vs. Edwin match is announced. For more recent entries, look no further than Alan Clark. When I return to active duty, I'm paying that bastard to write my material, because he is damn good. Favorite Match(es): I'll break this into two categories, so I can shamelessly plug my own material. FAVORITE MATCHES I WAS PART OF: -- The Crossfire Three Way 9-man Tag for Stable and Tag Titles. I'm not too thrilled with the ending (despite it being MY ending - hindsight, blah ), but it was just so damn fun to write, staying up until all hours plotting with the guys over AIM. -- Genesis III. Edwin downplays his role in the writing of it, but he really deserves a ton of credit, because he did a major editing overhaul on the ending, and it was very much for the better. FAVORITE OTHER PEOPLE'S MATCHES: -- Edwin vs. Sacred -- Comet vs. Neilsen, HIAC -- Triple Cage Match from way back in the day. -- All of the Mall Brawls -- TNT vs. Magnifico Favorite Stip to Write: Last Man Standing. Love it love it LOVE IT. No other match type allows for this much brutality. My Biggest Accomplishment: Being part of a team that beat Rane and Cyclone Comet. TWICE. I Regret That: Me and Sparky didn't job to the Corporation when the initial Carnival/Corporation clash came about. We wanted to win, because, you know, it was Edwin, and Edwin is the king of everything, but looking back, it would've made a lot more sense to have them crush us like so many Dr. Pepper cans to maybe draw out a feud of some sort. That's something I never really got on top of until the end - Storm, Fallout, Corporation - all were prime openings for feuds, but I never really took the time to pursue them like I should have, so none of them had a proper blowoff. I sigh. I Wish: I wish I could still write. I really do. I hate college, I hate not knowing what to do after college, and I hate coming home late and doing schoolwork late and having so little time to even read SWF material, let alone write any. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: 1. Me vs. Edwin, one on one, no stips, not a co-write. 2. Me vs. Storm, same deal. Every time me and Storm fought, the ending was arranged. 3. I like Edwin's idea of a Edwin/GSMS vs. Raynor/King tag match. 4. Me and someone versus all the tag teams I never got to face - Wild and Dangerous, Justice and Rule, Kriss Kross, etc. Dream Matches: Edwin MacPhisto vs. Cyclone Comet. Battle of the Goofballs! I've Become Most Friendly With: Alan Clark and TNT. I like to think me and the rest of the Carnies are friends, but AIM conversations are usually quite limited to SWF matters, while TNT and Clarky have become the guys I cry to when I'm drunk and lonely. I Hope: I can come back at some point, and I hope I'm still good. Personal Name: Chris Becker. Single: And loving it. Women are evil. Have Most Trouble: With school. It's all a problem of motivation - I really just don't care. This kinda bothers me, but I can't get motivated enough to change it. Favorite Things to Do: Videogames, go to the movies, catch up on recent SWF happenings. Most Recent Accomplishment: I produced a horrible monstrosity of a Macromedia Flash project for my Juvenile Law and Procedure class, and it was given a truly wonderful reception - the teacher asked for a copy to show to future classes. Most Recent Failure: Not doing... uh... ANYTHING... in most of my classes. Favorite Bands: Green Day, Everclear, The Seatbelts Favorite Book: Catch-22 Favorite Movie: Dark City Favorite Actor: Kiefer MF'n Sutherland One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Ouch... hm... tough choice... I'll go with the Black Mages Rock Remix of Dancing Mad, if only because it's long and quite varied. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My computer. Too much valuable stuff on it. Something You Want to Get Into To: Animation. Dunno if I'd be any good at it, but I'd like to give it a shot. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Kathleen "GoddamnwhoreslutbitchdieIhateyou" Smith. Biggest Turn On: Nudity is always good. Biggest Turn Off: Can't think of anything, outside of a criminal record. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Welcome to Heaven, Franz. My name is God. I think you're going to like it here." Just to show He's got a sense of humor. How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Oh, sorry, you're in the wrong place. Take the elevator up."
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Well, it should be no surprise that I think Flesher was the best ever. Edwin had the touch as well, and I have seen flashes of brilliance from many people. I know Stevens would agree with me in saying that Sacred doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves. Thoth in particular was good as well, when he cared. Favorite Promo(s): POONAR was gold, as were most things Carnie-related. Not to toot my own horn, but I think my face revenge promo "Revenge is a dish best served in Vermont" was good. Any Kingmas promo is clearly the finest promo ever. The "King's Road" stuff was good. There are so many, and I can only remember a few... Favorite Match(es): Mine? As a face, me against Stevens in the pre-Genesis 2 tournament. As a heel, me against Thugg. Of others's work Edwin/Silent was very good. Stevens' Clusterfuck win was great. Magnifico/Sacred has always been a pleasure of mine. Favorite Stip to Write: anything with rules, so I could cheat. My Biggest Accomplishment: While beating Thugg for the World Title was good, in retrospect I would have to say my heel run was better. It seems to have struck a chord in myself and others, and I like to think I may have been the best cowardly heel ever in the fed. God knows the competition is fierce though. I Regret That: I burnt out just after winning the World Title. I wish I had had the time or inclination to work a proper retirement angle instead. I Wish: that there was a way I could forever squelch my childish desire to return to active competition. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Well, I would like to work with Flesher most of all. There are many people from the generations after me that I wish I could work an angle with... TNT, Frost, Grappler, Wildchild, and Danny Williams are on the list, although Danny is mostly there so he could vent by murdering me in the ring. And I wish I could properly wrestle Neilsen, since he vanished before we finished our angle. And second only to Flesher... I would like to work with Ejiro, who may have been the coolest character, period, of the previous year. Dream Matches: I would like to see a hardcore Battle Royal featuring Neilsen of the Jungle, Janus, Silent, Wildchild, Dace Night, Frost, Annie Eclectic, and Judge Mental. I've Become Most Friendly With: Edwin and Raynor for the most part, but my time on CC has cultivated good friendships with many people. TBS is a cool cat. Thoth has his moments. I Hope: that I get at least a year off from CC before anyone asks me to go back. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Same as King, Brian Applewhite. Single: I am not married, no. I date casually. Have Most Trouble: keeping a job. Favorite Things to Do: video games and role-playing games are my most prevalent hobbies. I like women too. Most Recent Accomplishment: hmm... I suppose solving my Japanese Final Fantasy 2 would qualify. Most Recent Failure: My failure to get my first disc of Final Fantasy 9 to even load on my PS2. Favorite Bands: I like too many genres of music to take the time to list bands. But suffice to say if you hate it, I probably like it. Favorite Book: "Heart of Darkness" by Conrad. Favorite Movie: god help me, I agree with Silent. Favorite Actor: James Spader One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "Anna Begins" by Counting Crows One Item You'd Save During A Fire: my cat, Krishna. Something You Want to Get Into To: why are all the good answers taken already? Clearly Alyson Hannigan's pants are the promised land. Other than that, anything that would not drive me insane and would let me support myself above the poverty line. Biggest Regret/Mistake: I don't have one biggest regret, but the majority that I do possess involve women. Biggest Turn On: Intelligence. Biggest Turn Off: Stupidity that thinks it is sheer genius. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: Everytime you masturbated, an angel got its wings. How About Going to Hell, Devil says: The Frogurt is also cursed. A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer): Xstasy (the guy I pretty much tried to model myself after when I joined. First person I ever read), Low Brass, SoS, King Favorite Promo: Forget the title of it, but the one where the MC go to a fast food place and Edwin goes apeshit over his action figure's eyes being incorrectly colored. He screams, "they deserve the real me!" as he is dragged away from the scene. Favorite Matches: Triple Threat match between me, Avalanche and D-Devil from my JL days....even though I look back now and see that it was shit to what I could write now...Silent vs. Vlad de Burrov or whoever from the old ML. Favorite Stip to Write: Bar-room Brawl, bitch...even though I only wrote one. My Biggest Accomplishment: Getting to the WF, and winning the JL World Title. I Regret That: My WF career sucked and I got severly lost in the shuffle of everything. Oh, and that I left and haven't written a match for myself in two years. I Wish: Someday, I'd be the WF Champion...I dunno, something along those lines. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Me vs. Thugg..that's it. I thought up actual signature moves just in case I had a chance to face him. Dream Matches: None, actually... I've Become Most Friendly With: Crowe, probably I Hope: That I'll seriously consider making a comeback... Personal Name: Jonathan Dehn Single: Yup Have Most Trouble: Time management...math.. Favorite Things to Do: Read..sleep...play video games... Most Recent Accomplishment: Becoming a pack a day smoker...Making it to nearly 19 years of age. Most Recent Failure: Jess...year long relationship that did and does nothing but cause me pain. Favorite Bands: The Rx Bandits, The Talking Heads...I'm on the spot, can't think of any more. Favorite Book: Battle Royale Favorite Movie: Back to the Future Favorite Actor: tough to tell.... One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "A Change of Seasons" by Dream Theater One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My family. Something You Want to Get Into: Music...never picked up an instrument outside of playing drums when I was 10. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Not having enough fun during my high school days. Biggest Turn On: When I have my ears played with. Don't know why..but I enjoy it. Biggest Turn Off: Superficial whores. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: You made it...but I must warn you of the shortage of chairs. Kaertos 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2004 Dream Matches: Thugg & Suicide King -VS- Edwin and Rane... the ULTIMATE face -vs- heel tag match. I am beingz sad. SWF Favorite Writer(s): King, Edwin, Raynor, Thugg, Flesher, Williams, Dace, Toxxic Favorite Promo(s): I have four, two of which I wrote (what can I say?) - The promo right before the Edwin / Stevens match where we decided to go all out for the fans. - "Game Called" - my retirement promo - The Career retrospective Edwin and Raynor put together. I still read it about once every couple of months. It gets a little dusty in the room every time. - Of course.... Operation: POOFNAR Favorite Match(es): Edwin MacPhisto / Mark Stevens - my retirement match. I never wrote better than that, and mixed with Edwin's incredible stuff it was a thing of beauty. Favorite Stip to Write: Honestly? Triple Threats My Biggest Accomplishment: I'd like to say winning the world title, but I won them both on no-shows. So... Clusterf*ck and winning my ICTV rematch against Storm. I Regret That: I had to retire. God, I loved writing matches but the time just wasn't there. I Wish: I could come back. There is a huge part of me that looks at the current roster and thinks, "My God, I could have a great match with almost any of them." Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Well, duh. Suicide King / "Grand Slam" Mark Stevens - Hell in a Cell. Other than that? I'll take Flesher, Silent, Toxxic, Sacred and Danny with a side of fries please. Dream Matches: I would love to see King / Flesher. I would also love to see Williams / Edwin and anything (and I mean anything) involving Raynor. I've Become Most Friendly With: The Kliq (and Raynor, who somehow never graduated to "official" Kilq status) - Flesher, Ash and TBS I Hope: That I someday have the time to make one more run in the SWF. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Chris Hicks Single: Nope, happily married for almost 8 years. Have Most Trouble: Getting to work on time, staying motivated Favorite Things to Do: Role-playing games, read, write, watch movies and hang out with my friends. This of course leaves out an entire section of things that fall under the "Favoirite things to do alone with my wife" that none of you are privy to. Most Recent Accomplishment: Buying my house, I guess. Big accomplishment anyways. On a smaller scale, I got to work early this morning. Most Recent Failure: Missed a chance to go back to school by a matter of weeks. Favorite Bands: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Van Halen, Huey Lewis & the News, Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, Barenaked Ladies Favorite Book: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien (I've liked it from way back when. I still have the first paperback version I bought in 1986) Favorite Movie: Star Wars, Raiders of thge Lost Ark, Dead Poets Society Favorite Actor: Hmmm... well, I'll get crap for this, but I'm being honest... Ben Affleck. That dude was the bomb in "Jersey Girl". One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Either "Born to Run (Live)" or "Thunder Road (Live)" One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Assuming my wife was already out safe and all of the really really important stuff was good... my wedding album. Something You Want to Get Into To: Travel and Tourism Biggest Regret/Mistake: Not taking a local college up on their full scholarship instead accepting a lesser amount and believing my dad that he would help me pay for school. Biggest Turn On: My wife (and now that the safe answer is out of the way... a great pair of legs. Even better if they are in stockings.) Biggest Turn Off: People who feel superior to me. Oh, and excruciatingly severe body odor. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Nice job kid. Have a seat." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "You? Here? There has to be some mistake."

Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Besides myself? Goodear (as Ejiro), Johnny Dangerous, Tom Flesher and Landon Maddix; I'm afraid I'm not generally a big fan of the heavyweight style, so I have a little difficulty getting into writers whose characters are heavyweights. Favorite Promo(s): I'm not into promos, really; that Judge/Ejiro "ping-pong" promo is just about the only one that I can even remember. Favorite Match(es): Again, besides my own? My favorite matches that I didn't write include: Calvinball, Ejiro/Va'aiga (Genesis IV), Strangler/Erek Taylor (TFBC '03), ELM/Flesher (Clusterfuck '03) Favorite Stip to Write: No Gravity Match. I also enjoy Ladder matches. Quite honestly, though, I don't like ANY other stips. My Biggest Accomplishment: Winning the WORLD Cruiserweight Championship (Bow down, bitches!) I Regret That: There aren't enough writers in the SWF that care as much about the Cruiserweight Title as I do. I Wish: ... That the Cruiserweight Division were stronger. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Wild and Dangerous/Justice and Rule, Wildchild/ELM, Wildchild/Divefire, Wildchild/Suicide King, Wildchild/Xstasy, Wildchild/Fugue Dream Matches: Tom Flesher/Suicide King, Ejiro Fasaki/ELM, Frost/Va'aiga I've Become Most Friendly With: Johnny & Ejiro. I don't really talk to anyone else, to tell the truth. I think all of you guys are great, and I respect you as writers, but the simple fact is that I have a lot of difficulty relating to most of you guys outside of this fed; not only is Mark the only guy in the fed that's older than me, but most of you are anywhere between nine and fourteen years younger than me; there just isn't a lot of common ground. I Hope: ... that if I come back, that I can revitalize the Cruiserweight Division. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Curtis Mills Single: Separated Have Most Trouble: ... budgeting my time. Favorite Things to Do: Basketball and wrestling; since me and my ex split, that's pretty much been my whole life. Most Recent Accomplishment: getting the fuck out of Hawaii without getting court-martialed. Most Recent Failure: my marriage Favorite Bands: Not really any "bands" that I listen to; my favorite singers that are out right now are: Jon B, Musiq and Christina Aguilera. Favorite Book: Damn near anything by Robert Heinlein Favorite Movie: Kill Bill, Vol's 1 and 2 Favorite Actor: Jodie Foster One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "Gone Before Light," by Jon B. Either that, or "Addicted to You (Up-in-Heaven Mix)," by Hikaru Utada One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My son; there's no non-living thing that I'd brave a fire to save; come to think of it, there aren't a lot of living things that I'd brave a fire to save, either. Something You Want to Get Into To: A big-tittied woman. Biggest Regret/Mistake: My biggest mistake was marrying my whore of an ex-wife; honestly, I should have kicked her to the curb when I found out that she cheated on me before we got married. My biggest regret is the fact that, no matter how hard I try, I can't make myself stop loving her. Biggest Turn On: Large breasts (preferably "D" or above; "C" is acceptable) Biggest Turn Off: Smoking and/or drug use. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Big-tittied redheads are on the left, big-tittied brunettes are on the right, and big-tittied Asians are right down the street." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Hey! You're not on my list! Must have been a typo..."
HVilleThugg 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Xstasy! He was just flat out better than everyone, but Stubby just held him down. Danny Williams. I'm not much into puro, but I really enjoy reading his matches, and he would own everyone if he had the time to devote to this. He just has a way of making classic and puro wrestling seem exciting. Edwin - Just fun to read...his dialogue was always top notch. King - Same with him. Stevens - His classic face style of writing was very enjoyable. Wilson - Not the greatest writer, but I always liked reading his matches because you just never knew what you were going to get. Anything could happen in a Wilson match. Favorite Promo(s): I never remember the names of promos, so I have to describe them. One of my very favorite, despite it's disregard for a little thing the rest of us like to call reality, was Wilson's promo where he blew up FAQ Swartz...I think it was Carnival in Toyland or something. The Carnival's response promo to Wilson's promo was also one of my favorites. Edwin's retirement promo. Perfect Bo's Dude/Son promo...god that thing was so fucking funny! Somone please find that! And my favorite from my own stash was one from my second or third week in the JL where Thugg had a dream that he snapped and starting destroying everyone in the area...wrestlers...fans...everyone. He killed the NTD or Curry or Exploding Chicken or Riley or one of those dudes. He killed several fans and wrestlers...he just went on a rampage. That was fun to write. Favorite Match(es): Vangaurd's Mall Brawl, Strangler/Taylor, King/Thugg, War Games, Edwin/Thugg/Bo, Thugg/ELM (my personal favorite and best match I've ever written), Xstasy's #1 contendership match against Thoth, PDS, and like two other people...and there's a TON of matches that I'm forgetting about Favorite Stip to Write: Last Man Standing & HIAC My Biggest Accomplishment: Winning the world title off of ELM when no one in the world thought I was ready...and then consequently holding down everyone else. A second accomplishment that eveyrone will think is silly, but it was becoming very good friends with Mark and King after getting into a HUGE flamewar with them (very similar to my most recent war of words). I Regret That: Not much really. I kind of regret losing the world title to King...but that son of a bitch just wrote too fucking good. I regret (only a very little bit) that I let Thugg's character grow out of control. I liked him so much more during the JL and during his stint with Wilson than I did in his last go round when he talked way too much. I also regret (again, very little) that I didn't speak up with my objection as to the way that Stubby was ousted. I Wish: That I had time to write again. I also wish that I could bring back the days of old around here. For me, it was just so much more fun. No offense to anyone here, but I wish we hadn't moved to these boards because at IGN we had an enormous base of newbies coming in regularly...something we don't have here. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: HVT vs. Xstasy for the world title (never did happen). HVT vs. Apostle (not the new Apostle, but the old one...the one that spit on Thoth's US title). HVT (in my prime) vs. Danny - that would have just been fun. HVT vs. Strangler after a long program Dream Matches: The ULTIMATE DREAM MATCH!!! XSTASY VS. EDWIN MACPHISTO VS. SUICIDE KING VS. TOM FLESHER for the World Title! Four of the greatest in the ring together. I've Become Most Friendly With: Obviously...Mark, King, Edwin (although that bastard is never around), a bit with Rando, Ash, and Jake I Hope: This fed does not die. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Yeah, right... Single: Indeed Have Most Trouble: not speaking everything that's on my mind because apparently, there is no filter between my brain and my mouth Favorite Things to Do: Video games, reading, sex, programming Most Recent Accomplishment: Getting fired from something that's not a job...it's just so funny! Most Recent Failure: Poor presentation at user's group Favorite Bands: Fuel, Dispatch, Dave Matthews, The Roots, Tribe Called Quest, Ludacris, Venga Boys, ATB Favorite Book: Anything by Brad Meltzer Favorite Movie: Citizen Kane & The Usual Suspects Favorite Actor: Don't have one...Kevin Spacey if I did One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Shimmer by Fuel, We Like To Party by Venga Boys One Item You'd Save During A Fire: Playstation/Gameboy, Computer, TV, uhhhh...everything...I'd just keep going back in until it was impossible Something You Want to Get Into To: Christina Aguilera Biggest Regret/Mistake: Not having sex with HOT ass chick in Ft. Laurderdale last summer; Biggest Turn On: Hot stomachs, legs, and ass...and intelligence Biggest Turn Off: Stupidity. I don't care how hot you are...if you're stupid then you're a fucking troll. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Welcome my son." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Gotcha!" Da "damn that took a long time" H
Thoth 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Fallout. Seriously. That guy never lost, pretty much. Remember his streak? Anyway, I liked Nekura, Silent. I liked Fury's early stuff. Favorite Promo(s): Rise And Fall of Chrissy Stardust, anything G0R0 did. Favorite Match(es): I love the match I wrote against Silent in the ML, the HIAC. I also love the Johnny Rotten match which was written at 4 AM. Great stuff. Favorite Stip to Write: Hell In a Cell. My Biggest Accomplishment: Winning the SWF title in my second match back from my comeback. I Regret That: I didn't make the Clan as big as I could have. I Wish: Nekura was still around. Also that you people still cared about the audio show. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Me versus Suicide King, one on one, where we finally write against each other. Dream Matches: Toxxic versus Fallout, I've Become Most Friendly With: Annie, Renegade, Zed, Kibs. I Hope: When I do make my return, I tear ass. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Ted Polak Single: Nope, got a girl I've been dating for about a month. Have Most Trouble: Being understood; I'm really out there. Favorite Things to Do: Game... and... game, I guess. Most Recent Accomplishment: Destroyed a compsci midterm. Most Recent Failure: Failed the next midterm. Favorite Bands: Ayumi Hamasaki, Sparta, Seatbelts, Move, Vicky Vale, Minibosses, Kumi Koda. Favorite Book: Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson Favorite Movie: The Big Hit (I'm fucking serious, this movie is genius) Favorite Actor: Gordon Liu One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Dearest (Implication Dub Mix) - Ayumi Hamasaki One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My Computer Something You Want to Get Into To:Step up my game in Street Fighter one more notch and play the big tournaments. Biggest Regret/Mistake: Letting people walk over me for years and years. Biggest Turn On: Women who game. Biggest Turn Off: Said women saying they game, but mashing the fucking buttons like fucking little kids. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "You win." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "You win."
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): HVT, Wilson, Neilsen, Axis, King of Hearts (i think i'm one of maybe two people who prefered face King over his heel run), and the usual Carnie suspects in Edwin, ELM & Grand Slam. Jay Dawg too now that i think about it, hell, i even liked Jamie f'n Bjork (at least up to his face run in Anarchy anyway). Favorite Promo(s): I don't know, just about anything from the Carnival/Meat Festival days, the Edwin/Silent feud and some of Outcast's stuff. Favorite Match(es): Alot of stuff i really liked was from the mid/late 2001 time period, so unfortunately i've forgotten alot of the specifics. The Genesis II 6-man, Edwin/Raynor & Edwin/Stevens retirement all jump to mind as matches i've liked alot. Certainly nothing i've ever written or been associated with. Favorite Stip to Write: I really haven't been in many stip matches, at least not enough for any one to stand out as a favorite. My Biggest Accomplishment: Despite being around for around 2 and a half years i really haven't accomplished a thing, unless you call sucking and no-showing more than anyone else an 'accomplishment'. I Regret That: Too many regrets to list, it's easier to just say pretty much everything from the day i joined up until now. I Wish/Hope: That i'd get my shit together and manage a sustained run in the SWF, without the chronic no-showing. But lets face it, if i haven't managed it by now there's not much chance things will change. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: One-on-one with Edwin, which was supposed to happen on one show but never materialised, and against pretty much anyone i listed amongst my favorites. vs HVT and ELM did happen, but against Thugg i was a horrid face writing terribly and against Magnifico i only managed about 1000 words. Dream Matches: Nothing in particular really jumps to mind, i suppose any matches with the best of recent times (Flesher, Frost, Danny and the like) up against the mainstays of the 2001 days. I've Become Most Friendly With: Unfortunately i haven't really talked (well, typed) much with anyone from here, which i guess you can file under regrets as well. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Andrew Byrne Single: Yep Have Most Trouble: Getting motivated to do anything (my laziness extends well beyond the SWF) Favorite Things to Do: Sit on my ass doing nothing, more or less. Most Recent Accomplishment: I don't achieve much more in real life than i do here. Most Recent Failure: More or less life in general. Favorite Bands: Acid Bath, Slayer, early Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, some other crap. Favorite Book: No idea, god knows the last time i read anything. Favorite Movie: Pulp Fiction, though that might just be becuase it's the most recent movie i've seen. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: There's really nothing i own that i'm particularly attached to. Let it all burn, says I. Something You Want to Get Into To: Wrestling-wise, more Japanese stuff. Lifewise i don't know, anything that pays well and doesn't suck too much. Eh, can't be bothered answering any more, this'll do.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2004 SWF Favorite Writer(s): Justice and Rule, Taamo and Grappler are top of the list. Mainly because I've tried ripping them off before. WC too...his hardcore stuff was fantastic. Plus he said me. Danny and Toxxic are high on the list too. Favorite Promo(s): Err...well, Z's seeing as I can remember them. Favorite Match(es): Again, my memory sucks...so I'll go with Grap's Clusterfuck. Favorite Stip to Write: Multi-man matches, which I'm not part of enough. My Biggest Accomplishment: SJL Triple Crown, last ever JL Champion, beating Todd Royal in my third match. I Regret That: I didn't get to write the Clusterfuck, I didn't become JL Champ earlier, my floppy disc sucks so I couldn't write a decent Empty Arena Match, that I didn't join sooner. I Wish: Clusterfuck wasn't so far away, that Judge would come back Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Me and TNT from what I've seen of his. Me and Flesher would rock too. Oh, and Maddix/Ejiro. Dream Matches: Shite...Flesher and King would be awesome. I've Become Most Friendly With: Rando and Todd. I Hope: Rando and Todd go on great runs and get big recognition, that I get to write a Clusterfuck (see a pattern forming?), that I get to World Title level sometime. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Chris Single: Yes Have Most Trouble: See Above Favorite Things to Do: Listen to music, Play computer games...just relax and shit. And play football (soccer to the Yanks) when my knee isn't wrecked. Most Recent Accomplishment: Probably the last time I scored a goal. Which isn't really recent. Most Recent Failure: Failing to get important schoolwork done in time. That's a common one. Favorite Bands: RCHP...I'm more into songs than bands other than that. Favorite Book: I don't read that much, so I couldn't say. Favorite Movie: I'm no movie buff...anything funny I guess. Favorite Actor: See above. One Song to Listen to On Repeat: Right now it's D-12 "My Band". It changes whenever I find a song I like. One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My laptop. I'd be fucked otherwise. Something You Want to Get Into To: Wrestling without being a wrestler. Once I'm old enough, I'm going to try to become a referee, announcer or something. Playing/singing in a band would be great, but I'm talentless. Or porn. Porn's good. Biggest Regret/Mistake: About everytime I haven't asked someone I liked out. Biggest Turn On: Someone I can talk to. Seriously. Biggest Turn Off: Breasts that are too big, or girls that are taller than me. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Fancy being re-born?" How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Fancy a marshmallow?"
