What shoes do you wear?

Just picked me up some black and white DC's for mega cheap. I'm gonna wear these fuckers until holes break into them damnit!

 

Before that I had another pair of DC's. Black and red. I never wear boots because they're too heavy on the feet.

I roll with the black and red LeBron's and the black and silver KG's (Kevin Garnett) 2004's for when I'm playing ball or doing weight training at the gym. For just hanging out or leisure, I sport a pair of all black or all white K-Swiss low tops or if my dog's are barking, I go with my And 1 slippers that can be worn with or without socks.

I got a pair of flip-flops at a Marathon gas station free with a fill up about 2 - 2 1/2 years ago. Still wear those 90% of the time.

I just have a basic pair of black Vans with white trim. I had s imilar pair for 2 years, then I've had these for a year. I couldn't tell you their official name, honestly.

 

I used to always get the coolest looking basketball shoes up through late high school, but then I realized (A) I suck at basketball, (B) I'm not a fanatic like I used to be, and © Spending $150 on a pair of shoes just for style purposes is stupid unless you're rich.

Right now I wear some payless vans ripoffsthat only set me back 20 bones. In fact its my second pair of them in the past 2 years. The reason is I had a hard time finding shoes that fit cuz I have awide foot (my foot size should be a 12, but the widness neccesitates a 13 w, and its hard to find w shoes in brand names unless you go to an expensive store) hey they look fine and last pretty long so I have no problem. I alwys like the cheap store sneakers cuz one they are cheap and so you can get many, and they often last pretty long and fit better so who cares? However in high school I exclusively bought Nikes, trying to be cool (Infact I had a pair of 80 dollar nikes in 11th grade)

 

Unfortunately the shoes I am wearing dont come in other colors so I cant buy abunch, so basically I have one pair of shoes (but thats normal for me, I dont dress up at all, so all I need is some good sneakers)

 

Of course if I ever got rich I would have nicer shoes, but since Im not in high school anymore I can care less what anyone thinks anymore.

When I'm in a situation necessitating footwear, I go with flip flops too. I hate shoe shopping, because my feet are too big. Once I was at some Nordstrom clearance outlet looking for size 15s, and some middle-aged woman walked past the aisle for size 15-19 shoes, and said to her companion, "I can't imagine shoes ever being this big! How strange!" and I felt sort of self-conscious. In conclusion, I hate shoes.

I've got a pair of tannish sneakers with maroon stripes, which sound (and are) hideous but I get compliments on them for reasons that I can't fathom. I also wear brown Doc oxfords and black Doc wingtips.
