Nastiest head drops in wrestling history.

Man, I thought Lita was seriously fucked when I saw that.

Another one that noone has mentioned is Brock Lesnar fucking A-Train up with an F-5. I thought dude's neck was broke for sure.

Shane McMahon, KOTR '01. Can't remember if it's the first or second Belly To Belly where the glass doesn't break, but one of those.

the first one angle tries to BtoB shane through it ..... dosn't work

the second one does, and shane goes through to the back of the screens, and angle tries to put shane through ANOTHER screen .....

the THIRD BtoB fails also

the FOURTH BtoB fails also

the FIFTH BtoB fails again

so angle just grabs his head and throws him through instead!!!!

they have it on the "best of raw 2001", as i watched it last week

Steve Williams annihilating Kobashi with backdrop drivers in 8/93

Anyone who doesn't mention this hasn't seen the match or is a legit retard. A SHOOT retard, you might say.

Is it this one?

YES! :D

I can add that to my "FroGG_NeaL's Proffesional Wrestling That I Can Play When People Are Over" Compilation Volume 4.

That's one of my favorite matches, ever.

In WOW Women of Wrestling, one of the girls tossed a ref over the top rope, he landed neck and shoulders first on the pavement

More of a facebump, but Taka in the 2000 Rumble.

That was a nasty bump.

It was brutal, but I couldn't stop laughing the rest of the Rumble, because King kept DEMANDING they play Taka dieing over and over.

It was so fucking great.

I remember watching that at a friends house and laughing my ass off as well. We would cheer everytime King demanded a replay, since it was shown about 25 times.

I include myself for nastiest head drops. During a training session I completely fucked up on a front flip and didn't go over at all. I got myself half way over in mid-air and just dropped stright down. I landed on the back of my neck and when I laned, I completely folded up and one of my knees hit my fore-head. I couldn't excatly stand up for a few minutes and was horrified to go up and do another front flip move for about a month or so. Then after that there were a few more but none that horrible.

Actual Wrestler wise

-Sabu being dropped on his neck in his Beniot match in ECW

-Tony Malaluke hitting that guard rail, I thought he was pretty much dead.

-Spike going through the table from La Resistance

-Taz vs Bigalow comes to mind. When Taz went to t-bone Bigalow to the crowd while they were on the ramp. Taz slipped and fell inbetween the guard rail and the ramp and smacked the back of his head on the guard rail.

-Hayabusa screwing up a....holy shit I forgot what the move is called.......that Jeff Hardy finisher, anyways so Hayabusa screwing up that move and not going all way through and landing on Mike Awesome neck first.

You mean a shooting star press? Jeff Hardy does the Swanton Bomb. And that particular clip is nuts.

Hayabusa breaking his neck trying to do the lionsault was even worse, although I do remember the Mike Awesome match and found it weird that Hayabusa got more fucked up doing the move, yet it lead to the finish.

Oh man. Those backdrop drivers could fill out the top 3 by themselves. Kobashi gets a sick little German in early in the match too. Awesome match with extreme stiffness.

Thats right thats what it was, why the hell was I thinking Swanton Bomb? Did Hayabusa screw up on that move at one time or another too?

Your right but I haven't seen that match yet so I didn't count it.

You're referring to the Mike Bell incident.

I'm surprised no one has mentionned Brock fucking up his shooting star press at WM XIX.

I remember Chyna throwing Vince McMahon over the top rope and Vince's head getting caught under the bottom rope. His head looked like a pin pon ball being whiplashed.

I thought Chris Sabin was paralyzed after taking the Canadian Destroyer in IWA-MS during a 4 Way for the IWA MS Heavyweight title.

Colt Cabana has probably taken some of the most terrifying looking bumps off a Burning Hammer that I have ever seen.

Lizzy Borden's XPW table bump, where the back of her head hit the corner of the table and the rest of her body hit the ground. This was off of a Vic Grimes, off the top rope powerbomb to the floor too.

XPW, ever the geniuses, don't have video of it. Well, they have the shot from the stage of the ECW Arena, but Lizzy's impact is completely covered by the fans, one of whom is myself. I thought Lizzy was going to be paralyzed from it.

I just recalled Masato Tanaka eating an Awesome Bomb off the apron through a table back at One Night Stand.

Necktastic!

Vader German suplexing Antonio Inoki. Sure the headdrop itself isn't as devastating of itself, but the guy was what? 98?

The way Takeshi Morishima has been throwing his backdrops lately, we may one day be talking about his head dropping ways.

Worst head drop I've seen is a tie. The Original Ganso Bomb is the king of course. But Misawa Tiger Suplexing Kobashi OFF THE RAMP TO THE FLOOR was the sickest thing I've seen in a long time. How the fuck did Kobashi agree to do THAT?
